My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Harmony for 3 nights during a 5 week European vacation and loved it. Our room was on the top floor with a balcony that overlooked the canal. We also had an amazing view of the clock tower and the church tower. At night the view was simply beautiful. The room was stylishly equipped and we both found the bed to be very comfortable. The hotel is walking distance from all the main attractions as well as a number of very nice restaurants, yet quiet at night. Great service & great location, we would definitely stay here again.

We were here for two nights and I wish it had been a longer stay. The hotel was lovely, and our room had a balcony overlooking the canal. Staff was very helpful, and the breakfasts were excellent.

Room Tip: Spring for a room overlooking the canal - beautiful views.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Our room was impeccable. We didn't much care for the odd sliding glass door to the bathroom, but this was not a big enough issue for loss of even one star. The service was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was beautiful and had many excellent choices.

We stayed for a family trip and booked 3 rooms-2 cosy and one luxurious. The cosy rooms were on the ground floor, with a shared courtyard seating area between them. They were very roomy and quiet with( I am reliably informed) very comfy beds. Our luxurious room was on the 4th floor at the front.Although we didn't have a balcony, we had a glorious view over the canal and rooftops through the enormous windows, especially good last thing at night. The breakfasts were amazing, and the staff exceptionally helpful-when I asked to use the pool they opened it and left towels and robes for us to use.On one occasion, they had lost the key for the cover mechanism, so the manager came and took the switch apart so the cover could be opened. They then telephoned our room to let us know we could swim.
The area around the hotel is particularly good for restaurants, but we also found some very good beerhouses as well. The tram stop is very close, although we did most of our sight-seeing on foot. However, it was useful to be able to buy tram tickets from reception when needed. We certainly had a great stay and if visiting Ghent again, would happily go back to the same hotel.

Apart from being very easy to find the Hotel Harmony reinforces your idea of what a hotel should be. The staff are so friendly and accomodating. During our stay, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are superb! We opted for a gastronomic package and were not disappointed. The restaurant Karel Stoute, was worthy of a Michelin star and bore comparison with some of the best Uk restaurants. Its food was superior to le manoir in Oxfordshire. if you are considering a city break to Ghent then you would be well advised to book the Hotel harmony.

We stayed here and love it. We had to book two different rooms due to unavailability, as we wanted to stay both nights in the exceptional room. The exceptional room was fantastic - lovely balcony overlooking the canal - they laid out petals as it was our anniversary and we ordered a bottle of champagne which we enjoyed on the balcony.

Would definitely recommend this hotel - as it was easy to reach all sights - esp the Castle but a little out of the way for exploring.

Very efficient and friendly reception too.

Room Tip: Get a room with a terrace balcony for a view!
