You take a step back in time, into the quiet domestic world of the Flemish masters, when you cross the threshold of Abrahams Prinsenhof. I stayed in the small garden room, with a basic, retro look and very cosy. The other rooms are impressive family apartments. Breakfast, with the optional attendance of Horrie the dog, was new every morning, freshly prepared, and gracefully served by my charming Landlady. Plenty of hot water. Though in the centre of the city, this house is a haven of peace, and a perfect base for your stay in fabulous Ghent.
