“excellent food”
Reviewed 17 November 2012

The variety of food is astonishing. Everything is prepared and presented very nicely. The stile of the restaurant is modern but cozy. Don't just eat steak and fries!

“Slow food ambition”
Reviewed 7 July 2012

A very nice restaurant, located in the St Pieter's station square, trying hard to lift the level of the eateries next door. The menu warns for slow service but it turned out to be exceedingly prompt. Food is of local produce and carefully prepared. A pleasant if slightly clinical ambience, with modern furniture and prints by a famous Belgian photographer hung on the walls. One detects a whiff of trying a bit too hard but, all in all, one has enjoyed a pleasant meal at one of the few local restaurants open on a Sunday evening.

“Modern contemporary”
Reviewed 8 May 2012

Went to this restaurant on Saturday 5th May on the recommendation of Steven, one of the owners of the Carlton Hotel. We were lucky as he got us the very last table. Recommended to book in advance especially at the weekend.
We got a free aperitif due to the connection with the Carlton. I had a Kir with violets which was really nice. The food was very good. The starters are a bit pricey and could be more imaginative, with more choice. There was more choice and variety in the main courses. Our main courses were very good and cooked to our liking.. I had fillet of steak and my husband has a corn fed steak, like a rib eye which he enjoyed. The restaurant was packed with young trendy looking people and there was a great buzz there. Unfortunately our waiter was a little bit rude to us and we felt he did not deserve a tip. When he brought us the wine glasses my husband asked for larger glasses and he said he could only give them to us if we bought a wine over a 100 euro!!!!! He did bring us larger glasses but I thought the comment was uncalled for. He did a good job serving us other than that. But it takes 5 positives to get rid of one negative unfortunately, however it did not spoil our night.
