This place was gone but did not feel like a hotel. No reception area. No separate breakfast room. No permanent staff. Basically it's 5 or 6 rooms to rent in a building. Nice area beside school si no noise at night time. Decoration very modern and clean. Good beds. Staff (owner) very nice so I ended up forgiving them for the no staff no reception no separate meal room. And the breakfast although simple showed that they cared about their customer.

Stayed one night at the hotel - very small and friendly. Access code given to enter the hotel - for five rooms it is not permanently staffed.
Nicole very friendly - phoned to confirm time of breakfast and she made sure that everything was in place and that all needs were covered.
Not the largest room but a large comfortable bed and a great shower.
Plenty of amenities plus a minibar and enough TV channels to satisfy anyone.
Car parking available on street- need to be aware of the time restrictions (Nicole happy to advise on all local information).
Communal area with a coffee machine and seating area available and local information such as restaurant recommendations provided.
Good wifi.
Breakfast served by Nicole and a very relaxed and friendly stay.
Thoroughly enjoyable.

We only stayed the one night whilst travelling with our 4yr old child - arriving late and leaving early.
From the moment we booked, the owner Tania, contact us to check our requirements and then texted us before we arrived to see if there was anything she could do. Because we arrived late, she made sure we had all the details for an out-of-hours entry. Parking was easy in front of the hotel and free on the street overnight. Tania even had a list of recommended places to eat waiting in our room.
The room & bathroom was very clean, a little cramped, had eclectic decor and free wifi (always appreciated). We would certainly return for a longer stay if we were passing by.

Definitely the best place to stay in Sint-Niklaas... Stayed there for one night attending the SASK fashion school show in the evening... Just be aware that "Moon" feels more like home than an actual hotel... And it's precisely why we like it so much... Excellent breakfast as well. (Visted in June 2014)

From the moment we booked this hotel, the service we received was simply outstanding. Tania contacted us immediately upon receiving our reservation to ensure that all our questions were answered and to provide detailed directions.

Upon our arrival we were greeted by Tania who took us to our room and mad ensure that we knew exactly where everything was. We were also provided with a list of local restaurants, a map and a mobile phone number in case we needed to contact her.

The room was a good size with a 6’ double bed (medium soft), a fridge, a sofa, free wifi, remote controlled air-conditioning and decorated to a very high standard. The en-suite was large with a powerful shower and extremely clean (as was the entire hotel). There is also a small communal area with a coffee machine and a microwave.

We ordered breakfast on one morning, which was delivered to our room as requested. It was simply one of the best continental breakfasts that we have had and the scrambled egg and smoked salmon was delicious.

Moon Eat and Sleep only has 5 bedrooms, however this adds to its charm. It is located with 5 minutes walk from the station and 2 minutes from the main shopping street. We stayed in room 1 which was very quiet and comfortable.

Without a doubt we will return and unreservedly recommend this Hotel to anyone who appreciates the personal touch and high standards.
