Lovely Hotel. Very clean and tidy. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Very well furnished. Comfortable bed.
In a quiet position right in the country with beautiful views.
Food excellent.
Would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Asked for a low floor room, and we were allocated a room on the ground floor. For anyone that has d...

Food excellent and varied. Room nicely furnished, bathroom had bath and shower. Restaurant and comfortable lounge both had views out to sea. Owner and staff friendly and helpful. I intend to stay again.

We stayed 4 days as part of a West Country tour and it was definitely our best stop. A wonderful hotel. Manager and staff helpful and friendly when you need it and stay in the background when not. Food excellent quality, local produce where possible, evening menus varied daily by a chef who clearly knew his/her stuff.
Well off the beaten track so not for you if you want noisy nightlife. If you want a quiet after dinner drink and natter or read, in armchairs you can sink into, then look no further.
The decor may not be what many of us would have in our own homes, being reminiscent of days gone by, but dont think this is old decor. So spotlessly clean throughout that it looked freshly decorated the week before. Most important is that it suits this lovely old building perfectly. Its just the right style for a peaceful holiday in a peaceful part of the country.
We dont come to the West Country often enough. When we come again we'll arrange the trip to include another stay here.

A good small family run hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We have just stayed for 6 nights on B&B terms and eat in 3 times. Excellent breakfasts and diner menu changes every day. We had room 21 at the top which was large with wonderful views of the coast. Very clean room but only a bath and no stand up shower due to the eaves.

What a lovely time we had at this hotel. Good food, we liked the dinning room and lounge both with very good views, bedroom was clean and comfy. All Staff are very kind and thoughtful.
Plenty room to park the car. We stayed 5 nights and played a little golf in the area.
We will return to this hotel again.

Our stay at this hotel for a week at the begining of June was an excellent experience. The hotel is set in a beautiful location ideal for coastal and country walks and for visiting the many local gardens. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious with really comfy beds and excellent en suites. There was a stunning view from one of our rooms across to Falmouth and St Mawes. Food was a real treat with all meals being very tasty and well presented. For a relatively small hotel to come up with such imaginative dinner menus on a daily basis is a real bonus. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.
