We have just spent six nights at this lovely hotel. We had a wam welcome on our arrival, the room was spotless and newly decorated with a wonderful sea view. We opted for dinner, bed and breakfast and found every meal to be of the highest quality and thoroughly enjoyable. The owners, family and staff not forgetting the chef, made this hotel well worth a visit and certainly hope to return in the future. This is a lovely quiet country hotel for which a car is essential.

Room Tip: Rooms on the 1st floor at the rear have an excellent view of Pendennis Castle to the left and Rosemulliom Head to the right.

my husband and I had dinner a few Saturdays ago ...great surroundings and glorious views out to sea and countryside ....Great food and good menu plus notification at back of menu where they buy their produce ...excellent idea .......service also very good prices reasonable ......We will be back again for another evening meal very soon..... Unfortunately they don't do Sunday lunch as we would go more often..........This hotel is a really great family run hotel and loved it's warm surroundings......We will visit again soon

Room Tip: Sorry didn't stay overnight at hotel so can't comment on the rooms

It was our second visit to the Trelawne which is set in a lovely part of Cornwall. The accommodation is first class, as is the food with a varied menu. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. We certainly look forward to returning in the future.

My partner and I have just stayed here for a four day break. The hotel was immaculately presented and spotlessly clean. The bedroom (room6) was bright and airy with a decent size bathroom. The menu was very good and varied and the food was of a high standard and always served nice and hot at the exact time we asked to eat. Staff were polite and friendly. Although there is wifi this does not seem available in all bedrooms, it wasn't in ours. However it is available in the lounge and bar and the cosy sun lounge at the entrance. Apart from a hiccup with housekeeping when our key went walkout, a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is only a few minutes drive from the stunning gardens at Trebah and Glendurgan. Also very nearby is Mawnan Church where just behind you can join the coastal path with wonderful views over the Helford passage.

Trelawne is a traditional English hotel set in a beautiful part of Cornwall - easy access to stunning coastal and country areas, about 10 minutes from Falmouth, and very close to numerous places of interest for day visits. The hotel is very well and efficiently run with attractive accommodation (both private and public spaces), very clean and comfortable, and guests enjoy the benefit of a nice little bar in which to enjoy a quiet drink - usually whilst waiting for dinner which for those chosing to dine in is of a high quality - nice fresh food excellently served and presented by the efficient and friendly staff. (Breakfast is very good, too!). Guests who might not want to be out and about all the time can enjoy the very attractive lawned garden which overlooks the sea. A very attractive and peaceful place, Trelawne provides good vaue for money for those wishing to enjoy a relaxing break.

Room Tip: Some are a bit larger than others so if space is an issue, it might be best to inquire about that. All, however, have the usual facilities - TV, tea/coffee etc. - and are nice and warm.
