Charming place with lovely appointments. Would be rating of 5 but for the bed being a little uncomfortable. Leuven is a university town so the noise at night time and through the night is a big problem. Ask for a room at the back of the building. Great location, near to restaurants, sights etc.

Room Tip: Room facing the garden

By chance, I booked last year accommodation in Leuven in the hotel De Pastorij (found at the Booking.com) and it was so pleasant surprise that I stayed in the same hotel again this year. It is a very small hotel (7 rooms), Peter (the owner) is a very friendly man and takes care both on the hotel and on the guests. Moreover, the hotel is located in the quiet narrow streel just in the centre of Leuven. And it has nice and specific atmosphere, more pleasant than in the large "factories for accommodation". I can warmly recommend.

After spending four nights at Gasthof De Pastorij I think a breakfast prepared by the owner Peter Du Breuil should be in "Top five attractions to do in Leuven..." Mostly it felt like we were staying at a friend's apartment in town and he was the super-nice next door neighbor helping us in any way you can imagine. I don't think you should loose time looking for other options. Just email Peter and he will take care of your visit...

We Stayed in Leuven for one night on our way into Europe. On our arrival the Hotel was locked up and no answer at the front door but it was quite early in the morning, but a quick phone call to Peter the owner was all that was needed and he came round to check us in and let us park the car in the garage. Peter Is a charming host and a mine of information on Leuven, he gave us a town map and circled all the places to visit a the best places to eat. Our room was a like a small apartment with a bedroom a sitting room with a television and a separate bathroom every thing you need and more. In the Morning, after an excellent nights sleep we were greeted with the one of the best breakfasts I have had in a very long time with everything you could think of. The hotel is situated on a narrow street just a short walk into the city and an excellent base to explore from. We have been planning to back to Europe in a few weeks time but Peter is fully booked so we will try for next year.

Room Tip: If you are arriving make a note of the hotel phone number and phone ahead as the street the hotel i...

Since our first stay here, 3 years ago, this was our place to stay for our yearly visit to Leuven ... and it will be so in the future.
Peter is such a charming host, the breakfast was very very good, the B&B is ideally located in the city centre, the rooms are so cosy ... why would we stay somewhere else if we know that it couldn't be better.
Keep up the good work.
Also our compliments to Brian and Elke.

I chose this hotel as I was travelling alone on business and didn't want to stay in an impersonal larger hotel. Peter was extremely helpful and friendly, offering me advice on where to eat as a vegetarian, checking that the breakfasts were OK for me (they were great!) and printing off a walking map complete with photos when I needed to reach a location across town. 15 mins walk from the station and 5 mins from the Town Hall and main market square, it was very central to everything. The room was actually a mini suite so it felt almost like home. I would highly recommend staying here, much more character and more personal service than a large hotel. Super.

This is only a 15 min. walk from Train Station without detour! The rooms are exceptionally clean, roomy, well appointed. The breakfast that is included in the price of the room, is exceptional! The management was very helpful and informative about the places to eat, drink and visit. If you are in Leuven, this is the place to stay. Great location to do day trips from.
