I was here for second time. The first time I forget my shirt here which I don't even realize. This time they give me back my shirt, clean and iron. I'm so impressed. Staffs are very nice and helpful. I highly recommend thiS hotel if you're at leuven for business or leisure.

The room is huge enough for couple with all amenities you want. If there's anything you want you can request with the staff.

Excellent! I have to say.

Really nice hotel in a great position opposite train and bus station but no noise from either. Large en-suite rooms above restaurant which was very busy early evening and great if you don't want to walk far. Only one thing to mention on downside is the staircase to rooms which is very steep and winds round a bit - be careful coming down carrying your bags. Other than that breakfast, cleanliness, sleep quality etc. - great!

I stayed for one night.

Staff were friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was good.

Hotel restaurant was well expensive yet really busy so I headed to the pizza shop around the corner.

The room was dated with dated furniture but was clean and massive. BUT it was cheap.

There is no parking and due to the road works I had to go the wrong way down a one way street.

Sat nav kept taking me round and round in circles.

Free parking over night is on a meter so be careful.

Room Tip: ROOM 7 was at the back. try to get one at the back due to street performers noise.

I stayed here for one night. To access and book into the hotel you have to enter the restuarant which is downstairs. The restuarant is very nice but unfortunantely the hotel is very dated, it appears not to have been decorated since the 70's/80's! This should not put off anyone who is simply looking for a place to sleep as the rooms are very clean with comfortable beds. The staff are so kind and friendly, there is wi-fi and the breakfast is nice with lots of choice, the pain au chocolat's are gorgeous! The location is excellent, right opposite the train station, the town of leuven is lovely with lots of nice shops. If this hotel could be given some tlc, redecoration to bring it into the present time it could be so loveyl

Booked this hotel for a four night business stay as very convenient for the train station (2 minute walk literally) and working partly in Brussels, some 20 minutes away. On arrival I was shown to a room up some very steep and winding stairs on the first floor (there is no lift). The room was booked as a double (I am not a slim chap) but instead had two singles, but all very crisp, clean and tidy. The room was spacious, with a really useful desk area and easy chair, although as it was facing the rear of the building the view (chiefly of broken tiles and dirty vents) was not appealing. The beds were very low and soft, but actually very comfortable and I could have enjoyed a lovely, comfortable and quiet stay but for two BIG drawbacks which made sleeping difficult. Firstly, their is no air conditioning, not even a fan available from reception, making the room very very hot until well into the night. Secondly, the pillows! Good grief, I thought that pillows stuffed with hard foam lumps were a thing of the past, but seemingly not the case in Leuven! Such a pity, such a cheap and easy fix. The bedroom had no mirror, but apart from this was adequately equipped. The bathroom was of good size, clean and clearly very new. The room was cleaned and towels changed every day. Breakfast was good, if basic, consisting of a buffet with some hot extras. This hotel is really an excellent restaurant with guest rooms above, with an unbeatable location, friendly staff, good sized bedrooms and the worst pillows I have ever endured in over 30 years as a traveller!

- close to train station, the entrance is inside Restaurant De Klimop.
- walking distance to town center
- I stayed here for 2 nights and made a day trip to Brussels. The extra train cost was well justified by the expensive hotels in Brussels during that period of time. The travelling time between Leuven and Brussels is less than 15 minutes
- the owner and the waiter are very helpful and friendly. I want a hair dryer and need to get it in the restaurant. The waiter bought it to me right away even they are busy in serving the customers.
- Breakfast is good.

Room Tip: the hotel doesn't has any elevator. My room was on third floor facing the back side of the stree...

The location opposite the train station is great. Breakfast in the restaurant on the ground floor is excellent. The single en-suite room at EUR 37.50 including breakfast is incredibly cheap but of course you do not get more than a no frills room for that price: a single bed in a small room with a tiny bathroom. It is not a room to spend hours during day-time. The walls and floors do not make a very solid impression. The bathroom could use an extra light. For more than two nights in Leuven I would chose a more expensive place.
