“Excellent meal”
Reviewed 30 April 2014

Lovely restaurant, slightly away from the main centre of Bruges. The meal was excellent in every way imaginable and paired with a great wine. We usually only opt for 2 courses but could not resist going for the 3rd on this occassion! We fully recommend this restaurant for anyone who loves great food in a lovely setting.

“One of our best meals on the trip”
Reviewed 12 April 2014

This place is a few minutes walk out of the center of town but well worth it. it is a quaint restaurant, very small downstairs, although there looked to be another small room upstairs. The beers that we had were fantastic. The portions were just right and the food was delicious and aesthetically served. It is a quiet atmosphere, which is a nice change of pace from all the noisy places in the center of town. Would highly recommend. I believe it is family owned too.

“Best By Far.”
Reviewed 24 March 2014

There are a number of restaurants in Bruges which use this open-fire method of cooking (there's even a very good one on the next corner of the same street - called In't Nieuw Museum) but this place has got to be the best. It might be a little difficult to find but persevere.

We watched our steaks being cooked and were then served fabulous food, one of the best steaks I've ever eaten, in a comfortable and cosy space. On the night we were there the service was faultless and I wish we'd gone back there instead of making other choices which didn't work out so well.

“everything fresh”
Reviewed 21 March 2014

chef prepares everything fresh on the grill in plain view. All very tasty and good value for money. Be on time to ensure to get a table, restaurant is rather small.

“Unlucky?”
Reviewed 19 February 2014

Was recommended to visit. All was good to excellent with the spoiler being cold pasta side served with the main course. Even the quality of the Monkfish couldnt overcome this. Service was friendly. Downstairs seems to have a nicer ambience than upstairs. Starter of snail and mushroom in a soft curry sauce was excellent. I was probably just unlucky with the pasta. Overall a fantastic menu with lots to catch the eye - I love having a difficult choice to make from a menu.
