Glorious in every way. We loved our stay here. The room was so special and layed out with stunning fresh decor. It was so clean, immaculate and very quiet at night. White wooden painted walls, blue and white gorgeous bed spread, fresh side tables and lamps, a romantic self standing bath, lots of natural wicca baskets and wooden details. The Shower was one of the best i've ever had! The room felt like home from home and yet romantic and special. The breakfast was so good too - eggs served in a little Egg Coddler with a silver lid and there was a little bell on each table to ring for service! The roomy lift was a great benefit too with our bags. They had a living flame fire on till late, so when we walked in after our evening meal, we sat by it and listened to the mellow music they'd left on for us which was such a nice welcoming touch. The proprietors were so helpful, they even sourced us a special bag of their special hotel breakfast cereal as we were totally smitten by it! More to carry home but worth it! This is a Highly Recommended Hotel. Try it! you'll love it :-)

My wife and I stayed here on the last leg of our Honeymoon which included Bruges, Reims and Paris. What we can say is that this Luxury Guest establishment was by far the most relaxing place we stayed at on our trip.

Situated in the heart of Bruges old town and with private parking within the walls of the building this is an ideal base to explore what is a most wonderful city, a designated UNESCO site. From the time you enter the gate to the rear in order to park your car the place definitely possess's a Wow factor.

A manicured lawned area and heated swimming pool complimented by trees, gazebo and lovely spa building greets you as you are lead up to the rear entrance of the building. The downstairs rooms are large and beautifully finished in a very North American fashion and the attention to detail and finishing is impeccable. The same level of opulence continues in the hallways and in the bedrooms. We booked the Junior Suite which was worth the extra cost. An elevator can be taken up to the room but the walk up to room via the nice staircase is worth the walk. There is a private staircase that leads up to the Junior suite which is situated in the eaves of the building. A small entrance area allows you hang coats and take off shoes and there is also situated a writing desk and chair. To the right is a most wonderful bathroom which is larger than many bedrooms. A wetroom shower is in the bathroom as well as a most beautiful roll-top bath. Again the finishing as truly wonderful.

The main bedroom was very spacious indeed, the bed extremely comfortable, TV with a multitude of channels to choose from, radio with built in speakers in the walls.

Breakfast was served in a lovely room and was buffet style. There was plenty of cereal, breads, meats, cheese, yogurt and fruits to choose from and eggs to your liking are cooked to order. Fruit juices, a profusion of teas and coffee is also offered. Breakfast is very high quality and very filling !!!

Extra drinks including alcohol are available and are paid for by way of an "Honesty" system, you take what you want and the owners trust that you will make note of what you have had and put it in the honesty tray you are then billed when you leave.

NO children are allowed in the guesthouse, which is an added bonus for a romantic couples retreat.

The Madame of the house is very particular and may seem abrupt to some but to be honest she runs a tight business that is worth every penny. Stay here you will not be disappointed in anyway at all. The owners also have another guest establishment and restaurant in Bruges Main Square. Check my other review for the food at the restaurant.

Room Tip: If you can afford the extra book the Junior Suite

Just a great place in the middle of the city of Bruges with an awesome breakfast. Very tastefully selected. It has a great price/ value as well; a high class bed and breakfast really. We'd go back there any time.

Stopped 2 nights in august, the hotel is very nice and is well decorated and in a good location but that's about it, on arrival was met by the male owner of the B&B but the lady couldn't be bothered to greet her new guest , she was to busy sunbathing, the room was nice but he never explained how to use fan or anything and as it was in Dutch we couldnt understand how to turn it on,It was very hot in there. On using the room my wife took the tape off the toilet and opened the lid it was still dirty and I don't mean unflushed, it had not been cleaned from use by previous guests. There are no proper pillows on the bed only fancy cushions that are hard to sleep with. There is notes everywhere in the house do not get make up on towels / close front door fully / use slippers when coming in from pool. It was like being at school. The owners push there restaurant in Brugge, we was told about it on arrival and was asked at breakfast if we'd been, also talking of breakfast it wasn't good only 2 types of cereral, 2 fruits and choice of either fried or scrambled egg. No toast offered, no Danish buns very poor. On leaving I was told to press grey button to leave car park, this I couldn't find so I asked my wife to go and ask the lady owner, this she did by shouting directions across the garden, telling us she couldn't come and show us as she was to busy with new guests, but when my wife went in she also complained there was white powder on the bathroom floor and this would now have to be cleaned, Really it was talc and to be honest you would think then floor would be cleaned anyway , but with the toilet situation not sure
I put the same review on booking .com where I booked it and have been hassled by the hotel since wanting to know why I given a bad review. simple THE OWNERS and at €370 for 2 nights the is 5* prices and 1* service

Already reviewed this last year but we returned again to find it was just as good as before. Clean well decorated rooms (we have a junior suite), quite pricey but you get what you pay for! Very friendly hostess, good breakfast, lovely heated pool. We will be going back again.

This B&B is centrally located and within 5 minutes’ walk to the Market square. It has charming well-appointed rooms and every attention to detail is sought. The owners did a fabulous job in remodeling an old house and making it into a jewel. It is comfortable to sit by the pool with a glass of wine and relax after a day of sightseeing. The streets are a bit noisy at night, as probably most in Bruggges, so be sure to bring earplugs. The owners also own a restaurant on the market square and are quick to promote it. You will also discover that the invoice you receive after your cash payment does not include the taxes that you paid (?). There is a good, small restaurant right across the street (Kunstbistro de Twijfelaar), where we dined for two nights. When visiting Brugges be prepared to spend a lot of money on restaurants & lodging. This city has been discovered by tourists, but don’t let that dissuade you. It is very beautiful.

This weekend we stayed in Casa Romantico (2 nights with Wellness arrangement). This hotel is so well organised and managed and perfectly located (near the town center but quiet to stay) that, for us, it's the bes location and hotel in Bruges. We'll definately return and want to congratulate the owners of this place. Keep the quality high and standards as high and we'll return again and again. See you next time !
