Really lovely welcome from Livia and a lovely Belgian breakfast - the perfect start to the day after a night in the very spacious Belle Epoque suite.

She was so helpful with hints and tips about the city and there can't be anywhere more convenient for everything you could want in the area.

My only problem is that it was a little expensive - but for a Valentine's weekend away, what more can you ask!!

The host and the surroundings made my birthday weekend a great one to remember. Would certainly stay there again and would always tell friends and family to stay with her. Brilliant location, lovely ornate rooms and good sizes and bring your appetite for brekkie!

Need I say more! Myself and my boyfriend stayed at Livia's beautiful boutique hotel for one night, in the Belle Epoque Suite, but wished we had booked for much longer. Livia is a very accommodating host, she cooks a wonderful breakfast, with eggs from her own chickens, fresh home baked bread and lots lots more. When we asked if Livia knew of any nice restaurants, she recommended an amazing morrocan/indian fusion restaurant-a must try! It was a 2 minute walk from the hotel, had a cosy atmosphere and was good value for money. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the canals and the main square, on a quiet side street in a safe area, and about 5 minutes by taxi from the train station. Our room was exactly as described on Livias website-(www.liviasbedbreakfast.be) with really high ceilings, rich antique decor and a huge roll-top bath-perfect for a romantic stay. The whole house is incredibly stylish and elegent, completely faultless. If you want a piece of luxury in the very heart of Bruges then this is definately the place for you! ...needless to say we have already started recommending Livia's to family and friend and will definately be returning!

We received such a warm welcome from Livia and were made to feel right at home from the outset. The B&B is decorated with immaculate taste and forms the perfect base for exploring what is a wonderful city. The hospitality was second to none and the breakfasts were fantastic, including eggs from Livia's own chickens! I cannot recommend this beautiful establishment highly enough.

We spent 2 nights at Livia's in Bruges last weekend and had a wonderful time. The B&B is in a perfect location to enjoy all Bruges has to offer. We were traveling with our 2 young children (2 and 4 years old) and reserved the "Room with a View" loft suite for our family. It was exactly as described on the website and worked quite well for our family. The beds were very comfortable and Livia had made up the baby cot nicely for our youngest child.
The room was very comfortable and well-appointed. Not luxurious, but charming, cozy, and sweet. The only downfalls were that the room was up quite a few flights of narrow, steep stairs. However it was not a problem for our children so no worries. The other negative was the lack of air conditioning which was not much of an issue except for the middle of the night when the room got a bit stuffy. Otherwise we had a very enjoyable stay!
Each morning Livia had a delicious breakfast for us, with fresh juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate for the children, and all sorts of yummies. Breads, pastries, farm fresh eggs and bacon, meats and cheeses, etc. Being at Livia's was like being at an aunt's house for the weekend- we were well taken care of!
