“Nice central location”
Reviewed 27 July 2014 via mobile

This place is just off the market square. We were in a room just next to restuarant up two flights of spiral stairs. The bedroom was large anf there was a good sized lounge/ dining area and bathroom. The breakfast was lovely including numerous breads, ham, cheese, fruit, yoghurt, cake, mozerella/ tomato/ olives including tea and coffee. Downside of being so close to market is it was quite noisy friday and saturday night. Room was also quite warm but insect repellant ug in was provided.

We were given the top floor, which initially seemed fun despite the winding staircase, mostly because of the view. Unfortunately, the room is dingey and badly in need of remodeling or some attempt at upgrading. No AC--not uncommon--not even a fan, leading to getting eaten alive by bugs overnight and hardly sleeping. We left at 6am, came back later to check out, owner was disinterested when we checked out after 1 night rather than 2, still charging us for both and simply telling us to get our money back from hotels.com (we'll see how that works out!) It appears from other reviews that the other rooms are remodeled--the top floor definitely needs it. The location is good, but I would definitely caution anyone slightly elderly, disabled, or out of shape not to book here. We did fine with the steep, tall stairs, but it would be a challenge for many people over about age 40 I'd guess. I would definitely not stay here again.

Stayed at Verdi B&B this weekend. Couldn't fault it. Perfect location, very spacious room and a massive bed. Even the antiquated TV added to the charm of the room. The owner carried all suitcases and even parked the car for us. Stayed on the top floor. Very pleasant and friendly staff. Highly recommend it.

Delightful B & B in a perfect location. As others have said, the rooms are just around the corner from the restaurant and are convenient to everything you could possibly want to see and do while visiting Brugge. Benny and his wife (the owners) are delightful and take significant pride in being friendly and accommodating. The breakfast included with this B & B was amazing--wish we could visit them again even if it was just for the homemade pastries and other goodies!

You have to go to the restaurant just round the corner to get keys and be show to your room ( which is just a very short walk around the corner ( about 2 mins to put into context) on entry you are treated to a beautifully crafted spiral staircase with lots of object d art ( including some jeroboam wine bottles fun for comedy snaps) rooms simple and very spacious with a fantastically large open shower with his and hers sinks. Very clean tidy with good crisp clean linen. Hair dryer provided. Staff very friendly and insisted on carrying my case from the restaurant ( where an excellent breakfast is provided see my other review)

Room Tip: Stay here a wonderful central location.

You can't beat this location. Just off Markt Square so you are close to everything, but away from most of the noise. Our room was in a building off-site, just around the corner from the restaurant. A very short walk to breakfast. The room was newly renovated, VERY large and charming with a non-working fireplace. Breakfast was very nice with a delicious fruit smoothie every morning. We did experience some street noise late into the night on Friday and Saturday, but that can't be helped due to its location.

I saw some foto's of Verdi here on tripadvisor en went to the Verdi with this tought.
But when I arrived at the room, it seemed that all the rooms has been refurbished.
A nice modern look, but they keep the nice classic stairwell.
Woow, really nice rooms, and what a great location!
When we checked in at the restaurant the owner was friendly and showed us the room.

We enjoyed our stay!
