“Really luxurious hotel”
Reviewed 12 July 2014

Excellent service, plenty of choice for breakfast and two excellent rooms on the first floor in the old building. The beds were so comfortable and the rooms were very clean in fact it is one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. Oh and the Long Island Iced Teas were very well made.

Room Tip: ask for a room in the old part of the hotel

We stayed at the Grand Casselbergh Hotel for three nights last month and absolutely loved the place. It is right in the heart of Brugges, within very easy walking distance of all major sights. The hotel was extremely clean and beautiful. Our room was lovely, and had everything we needed. The (included) breakfast was fabulous. I can't imagine chosing another hotel in Brugges and highly, highly recommend this hotel. I also highly recommend Brugges which is definitely within my top five cities in the world. Enjoy the fabulous cuisine, people and chocolate!!

We stayed at this gorgeous Hotel for 1 Night. It is right in the Centre ,rooms are spacious, we had a bath and shower En-Suite, the bed and pillows were so comfortable that I had the best sleep, all very clean, breakfast choice was amazing Staff very friendly, we reserved a car parking space before arrival, which is not easy to find but we were able to stop opposite hotel Entrance and asked for guidance well worth the 25 Euros

We stayed here as part of a voyage prive deal with Eurostar, and were given an executive room. It was bigger than most hotel rooms we have stayed in with a lovely big comfortable bed and huge bathroom. The offer included breakfast and we were also given vouchers for 'bubbles at breakfast' which was a great addition! The service at reception was also very good. I would definitely stay in this hotel again - especially for the big bed and big fluffy pillows!

We stayed for 3 nights in June, 2014 at this hotel in a Standard room, which we thought was a large size, especially for Europe. Everything spotless and very comfortable bed. Breakfast room was superb as was buffet breakfast included in our online booking offer. The huge bar and lounge rooms on ground floor are beautifully decorated, worth a good look. Hotel so convenient for everything in Brugge.

We stayed two days in Grand Hotel Casselburg in Bruges, Belgium.
This is a nice hotel. I had reserved Quality Canal View room which although a little small by north American standards but was comfortable and had all the amenities.
The full breakfast was included in the price of the room and offered more than enough choices.
The location was great. One does not need a car since the hotel is at walking distance to Market Square, lots of good restaurants, museums, churches and other places of interest.
The rate of 208 Euro per night in my opinion was reasonable keeping in mind that good hotels in Europe are more expensive compared to north America.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Despite the slightly small size of the room it had every comfort to be imagined. Bed, bedding and pillows all first class - what a sleep we had! Shower is one of the best I've had in the Europe over the past 5 years and the amenities such as the soap were extremely high quality. They even have a no fog heated mirror in the bathroom, I have never seen this in a hotel. The hotel is situated in a perfect location, walking distance from almost anywhere you need to go in Bruges. I didn't have a chance to visit the spa except for the steam room which again met all my needs. Nightly parking is not cheap but that's to be expected in most European hotels/cities. Overall one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in.
