this is a really great hotel in a fantastic location pnly about 100 yards from the main market square. It's beautifully furnished in a classical way. The rooms are clean and quite roomy and the breakfast is excellent.
highly recommended

This is probably one of the nicest rooms I've ever had. We stayed for two nights, room 1102 (don't recall which room type, but it wasn't one of the super-expensive ones). When I first opened the door - wow, tall ceilings, chandelier, beautiful linens and artwork. It was much more than I had expected. We faced another building so it wasn't much of a view but that was ok. It was a very roomy space and the bed was even better. Basically it was a king size, but with two twin mattresses on top. Very comfy and almost heavenly - didn't want to leave! Bathroom was clean, modern, and very spacious, with a separate tub that would make a tall person very happy. Breakfast was very hearty with many options, including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, yogurt, meats, cheeses, various breads, a toaster, etc. etc. Service was very good, for what little needs we had. Great location - short walk to market square and located on a quiet side street. I would stay here again and would love to have room 1102 again!

We took the quad room and our two children were delighted with their beds high up on a seperate floor among the beams (although I wouldn't recommend this room for young children). The room was spacious and the beds luxurious. The bathroom was modern, well kitted out and clean. Some people have complained about the buffet breakfast, but we enjoyed the full range of cooked and continental foods on offer. I found it especially useful to have breakfast as part of our holiday package so that we only needed a light lunch later in the day. It was great to be able to leave the car in the parking area and step out of the hotel into central Brugge.
I was disappointed that our room wasn't serviced until late in the day, but this was put right once we complained to the reception staff. We also could hear voices from the rooms on both sides which made me resort to my ear plugs at night. If you're spending your evening in because of the children, don't expect too much from the tv - there are were only three English speaking channels. Otherwise the lounges are smart and the service was good.

We stayed here for my in laws golden wedding and it was excellent. The rooms were very spacious - even the cheaper ones.

We reserved a space in the car park which is underground - be warned though it is not for the nervous driver as entrance is via the car lift accessed at a sharp right angled turn off the one way side street. Our car only just fitted (big 7 seat 4x4) but if that fits I'm sure your car will - it is just a bit tight!

On the whole - excellent hotel - would stay again. On par with some of the 5* hotels we have stayed in.

Quality room with canal view in new part - could not hear a thing from other rooms hotel was full. Bathroom was spotless and decorated to a high standard. The bar area rooms were very relaxing to enjoy one last drink before bed to a comfortable room. Could not recommend this hotel enough will definitely return.

Escaped the kids and booked direct with the Hotel on a "wellness break" very reasonable. We upgraded our room and glad we did it was really luxurious and we had a 6ft bed! great bathroom a bath and a wet room type shower. L'Occitane toiletries! felt really spoilt! A great location right in town, friendly staff and the breakfast was really nice. We paid for parking and we were glad we did very secure under the Hotel.
First visit to Bruges, Loved it , the people speak excellent English and the food is delicious!
