We ate here on Friday night after reading about the restaurant on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. I booked in advance because I wanted to be sure we would get a table and the restaurant is quite small. They specialise in local dishes. We had the delicious Flemish stew which was excellent and an huge bowl of Mussels and chips which was also magnificent. The waitress and owner could not have been more welcoming. By the time we left we felt like we had been dining with friends. It's a bit off the beaten track, but definitely worth a visit for an fabulous meal and a memorable experience.

We found this lovely bistro/restaurant after a 10 minute walk from the centre. Perfectly home cooked food, some traditional Flemish dishes, great service and lovely hosts. Admittedly it is a bit off the beaten track but worth seeking out, it's quirky homely interior is delightful.

The lady owner is absolutely charming and very helpful explaining the Flemish dishes and best wine or beer to accompany.

We read the reviews and based on these decided to book at table at lunch time. We're so pleased we did! We were made to feel very welcome and were spoilt by the volume and quality of food. We had the special for €12.50 which included delicous unlimited home made soup. Because it was so hot, they accommoded us with a ham pasta salad which wasn't your average salad and had alsorts of ingredients in it. Finished with a coffee. Our waitress told us the stew is their speciality so we hope to return and try this. Well done pro Deo!

Off the beaten track, which is always a good sign for me, we had a lovely evening here. Natalie was the owner/waitress and was really charming. It's quite an interesting place - belgian food and 60 style and clearly Natalie and christophe are passionate about what they're doing. I had stew, one of our party the steak and another the eel, which were all good. Mum had the prawns which she said were too greasy - and after "beer and ribs" the night before, that was disappointing. the wine - carmeniere was good too. the bill was £150 euro. What I liked about this place was that the owners don't seem to be into "money chasing from tourists" but really want to do something that has meaning and is of good quality.
