“Delightful little cafe.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 November 2013

Came across this little gem quite by chance. Liked the look of all the pastries in the shop window first of all. Coffee very good and the apple and cinnamon pastry superb ! Just basic table and chairs really but then, it's the food and drink that count. Gorgeous little gingerbread men biscuits also served with each drink. Had to buy a bag to take home with me ! Staff all friendly and prompt with service.

“Lovely relaxed breakfast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 November 2013 via mobile

Found this place after not wanting to pay hotel breakfast prices. Lovely place. Breakfast options were limited and bit exactly cheap but better than hotel prices and a much nicer atmosphere. Locals popped in for a coffee and a read of the papers while other like us had the full bread basket trying all the jams on offer. Very nice fresh orange juice and lovely English breakfast tea also - a must for me after a few Belgian beers the night before. Would love to be eating there again right now!!

“Almond croissant to die for!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 November 2013

We stumbled across this bakery just off the main Market square and although it doesn't look much from outside is well worth a visit. We both opted for jumbo hot chocolates, served inthe french style in bowls whilst I chose an almond croissant my husband opted for his now favourite merielleux - a chocolate, cream and meringue concoction! Ideal for breakfast, bruch or a mid morning snack.

“Lovely little cafe”

Excellent. Lovely little cafe for coffee and breakfast. Excellent service. The food was lovely and the coffee was superb. Although a bit on the pricey side, we would definately visit again.
