There are two camping pitch sizes; 5m2 and 80m2. The 5m2 looks generous on paper until you realise a two man tent is 5m2. The previous reviewers must have selected this as it seems adequate and is cheaper. How could you fit a car and a five man tent in the space meant for a small tent? We booked the 80m2 option and along with our sixman tent we could have parked two cars in the space etc. Anyway- great site, great multi lingual staff too and a fantastic Belgian supermarket very closeby. The glass in the shower block? Disagree too. I will agree- stay away from the trees as it has too much shade. Great assualt course in the woods too. Definitely recommend.

We stayed for three nights camping, ours is a 3 man tent, a little too large for the camping area which is just really for 2 man tents and was very small & crowded, so we took at pitch at 27.50 Euros per night. It is the most we have ever paid in Europe to camp, but I guess reasonable for caravans/camper vans & the small tent area was cheaper. The site was very clean and the staff friendly & helpful. We turned up without booking & they did fit us in so can't complain, but probably a good idea to book. They do not provide toilet paper or have a shop but plenty of supermarkets & food outlets within 5 min walk.
It's the only camping site in Brugge & was about 25 min walk to the centre or 10 minute bus ride.

Enjoyable stay and highly recommended!

On the positive side:

Lovely site only a 30/40 minute walk from the historic centre. Beautifully clean and we'll kept toilet/shower block. Relaxed European feel with tourists from all over. Secure site with articulate multilingual staff (French, Germany, Flemish and ENGLISH )

On the negative side:

Tent pitches are EXTREMELY small (guy ropes crossing over and nowhere to sit outside you tent unless someone else's lap suits you!) Rather smelly, I assume from sewerage or drains, which was bearable but rather unpleasant. Poor wifi coverage

Overall we had a lovely stay and would recommend to anyone - purely on the location

Enjoy

Nice place, but the lack of noise control and enforcing of rules degrade the camp. Facility is clean and close to town. Staff is very friendly. Maybe to friendly and not willing to address problem campers.

We booked this campsite for 2 nights, on the way back to England after a 2week tour of Germany. It was an ideal location, on arrival it had been raining and the pitch we were allocated had a puddle of water in it. Not a problem for a caravan or camper van, but we would've had to pitch our tent right on top of it. Although a busy site, they allowed us to move pitches. The pitches are very close to each other, but it is a very transient site - stay for a night or two then move on. Facilities clean, remember to take toilet roll! Queue for showers in the morning, but very good. It costs 1 euro for a 1 hour ticket to the internet. Carrefour, McDonald's, quick burger, lidl and Aldi are all close by. We walked into Brugge both days and is very straightforward, only taking 25 mins.
