Great location close to all the main sites, with some nice restaurants and bars nearby. The communal lounge and bar are nicely done but not very inviting (they were completely empty whenever we walked by). We stayed in a "Charming Room" which was small; decor was nice B&B rather than luxury boutique hotel.

We were staying in room number 207, which is a Ralph Loren Suite, for 4 nights. Even though we experienced no problems with our accommodation, we were treated badly, upon our departure. More specifically, our 3 year old kid's milk bottle opened while we were carring our laggages, and 1 tiny and 1 moderate spot of milk (diameter less than 5 cm) was accidentally done. The owner reacted in a quite hysteric way requesting for us to pay 3000 (3 thousand) euro for replasing the quite old already carpet, in case the special (?) personel could not clean it!!! She also requested 100 euro in advance for paying this personel!!!! She was rude and she wanted to call the police. My wife requested to get the cleaning devices herself to clean the spots, and she started to cry. The owner was extremely rude. It was just a milk spot, on a cheap looking and old wall to wall carpet, not a wine spot or blood or something difficult to be cleaned. This is the hospitality for a 450 euro per night room! So, if you visit this place and decide to have a beer in the cozy bar, be very careful...This place is absolutely not friendly, at least for kids. Otherwise, Brugges is one of the most unique places somebody can visit, with the rest of people we met being polite and friendly. Please take in account that I travel A LOT, due to my occupation.

Although you stained the bedspray the first night, made spots on the
footstool the second nigt and spilled a bottle of milk on the carpet the
third night, which caused a stain of 80 cm (and not 5 cm), you did not have to pay a penny.
So, I think we treated you very.. very kindly and we had more reasons to be
unhappy.

I stayed 1 night with 2 friends. We booked a large triple room, but they upgraded us to a Junior Suite. The room was spacious and elegantly decorated with Ralph Lauren fabrics. The bathroom was large with an independent cabinet and you can find Annick Goutal amenities that smelt very good.
The recepcion was little but lovely, and the staff was friendly and corteous. Both the owner and one emploIyee spoke perfect spanish and were very nice.
We didn't take the breakfast, so I can't give my opinion about this, but I'm sure It should be very good.
The only negative point is that during my stay I didn't stop sneezing because I am very powder sensitive and probably the moquete was full of mites.
Apart from this, the hotel worths a visit in order to see its decoration and to enjoy its excellent location in the heart of Brugge.

Thank you very much for the feedback. As you see we do our utmost to create a most enjoyable atmosphere. Our receptionists speak 6 languages in order to be able to help our guests in the best way. Sorry that the carpet, although it is daily thoroughly cleaned, caused you problems. Maybe a wooden floor is better if you are powder sensitive. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay anyway.

We stayed in this wonderful hotel for a romantic long weekend and it was idyllic.

This was the trip I fell in love with Bruges. The hotels location is perfect for exploring the old cobbled streets, wonderful shops and fish market. Truly magical.

The hotel has a wonderful intimate bar with a lovely breakfast room.

The rooms are nicely decorated and very cosy. Nice bed linen, good pillows and a good supply of towels.

This is the place to stay for a romantic first time in Bruges.

We booked my other halves parents in for a special anniversary and now all they want to do is go back!!

This lovely small hotel was the highlight of our trip to Paris/Belgium. Recommended by friends, The Pand exuded the old world charm and refinement that is the essence of Brugges itself. The only bad part was not having enough time to soak up The Pand's wonderful ambiance....we wish we could have stayed for weeks.

We stayed at teh Pand for three nights a the end of a busy trip around N Europe. We arrived late in the evening and were welcomes by Rebecca who not only took care of us, our luggage and the car, but arranged a table at an excellent, (fully booked) restaurant just of the main square.

We had a "junior suite" which was well equippped and very confortable - making us feel right at home. Breakfast was just as described above - welcoming, varied and filling. Great idea cooking on the Aga in front of you! Staff were brilliant at all times and only to happy to advise on things to do, places to visit and provide an honest opinion on local restaurants.
Suggest you pre-book your parking - private garage right next to the hotel entrance.
If/when we return to Brugge, will definitely stay at the Pand. Have recommended to friends who have Brugge on their itinerary for 2010 (not given lightly!).
