“Four night city break”
Reviewed 5 December 2011

Beautiful old city, touristy but not spoilt. Wonderful for walking around either by guidbook or ambling. Wonderful history of city and amazing buildings to admire;externally and internally.
Not stayed with this chain of hotels before but would again. Clean rooms and all public areas.Room very comfortable, helps to have arm chiars and table as sitting on beds not alwyas comfortable. Surprise with mini bar, expensive, but useful to have one in room. Staff polite and helpful. Location is brilliant for all attractions.

Room Tip: Stay away from front rooms as face market square with all the bars and restaurants!

stayed in the NH Brugge in December 2011. Really pleased the lobby gives an immediate good impression and the room was spacious and clean. Parked in the underground car park under T'Zand square which was safe, secure and a good price. Would advise not eating breakfast in the hotel though at 20 euro per person it seems a lot. We went into CAfe Hollywood oppostie on T'Zand sqaure and had 2 croissants and a hot choc each for 6.50 euro much better! Shame the swimming pool has been closed in the hotel though. Brugges at Christmas was as lovely as ever. Will be back

We stayed here for two nights (25-26th Nov). We found the hotel very easily from Bruges train station which is approx. 10-15 mins walk South of the hotel.

Upon arrival we found the staff in the hotel to be very friendly and helpful. The receptionist was chatty without being overbearing; she showed us some of Bruges "sights" on a map, which was a useful start to our stay.

Our room on the 4th Floor was very spacious with all the facilities you would expect of a "chain" hotel (other than an iron).

The hotel is located just off t'zand square which has many restaurants and bars if you fancied something a little different to the more "touristy" centre around the Markt. It's approx. 10-15 mins walk to the Markt down either of the two main shopping streets.

We didn't have breakfast as part of our deal so cannot comment on the quality of food.

I would recommend avoiding the small shop next door to the hotel as the proprietor would appear to "makeup" prices for specific items on the spot (i.e. €2.5 for a bottle of water which was €0.85 at the nearest chain supermarket).

Overall in this is a good hotel in a great location for exploring Bruges.

Three couples stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in late November. We had a great experience.

The hotel was well located, large rooms were well appointed with great beds and duvets. Room had a coffee maker, small TV with basic service and a nice bath with minimal amenities.

Staff was very helpful and polite. The bar, with its fireplace, was a nice place for an after dinner nightcap and was reasonably priced. There are lots of alcoves to gather and the hotel has a design in keeping with it's location.

It is an easy ten minute walk to the train station, unless you have a lot of luggage.

We were very happy with our choice and would choose this hotel for future visits.

Room Tip: Ask for quiet room off the main road. Deluxe rooms are a good value.

My boyfriend booked a trip to Bruges as a surprise from me and chose the NH Bruges because of its conveninet location to both the train station and also the old part of town.
It certainly didn't disappoint - the location was perfect for seeing all of the sights. The hotel staff were so helpful and poilte which really made us feel welcome when we checked in.

The room was very spacious, well decorated and the bed was HUGE and very comfrtable. As we were only there for the weekend we didn't really spend very much time at the hotel, it was really just a base from which we could expplore.

I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and Bruges for a weekend break destination. Overall an excellent trip and I would have no hesitation about staying at the NH Bruges again.

Room Tip: My boyfriend had upgraded us to deluxe room, the room was excellend

First and foremost the NH Brugge is located in a prime spot in the city, with the bus terminal only a few minutes walk from the doorstep and the main attractions a gentle stroll away. With that said the premises are secluded enough to get away from the tourist packed streets of this historic UNESCO site. A stay here will therefore provide you with a firm footing to enjoy everything that Brugge has to offer.

The room was spacious and very comfortable, and the staff were very knowledgable and friendly. Pre-booking breakfast is highly recommended as it will ensure that you spend as much time roaming the medieval streets of this fabulous destination.

The only criticism that I can level at this hotel is that the corridors on the upper floors are somewhat dark, primarily due to the dark purple coloured walls. Another stay is on the cards for the coming Christmas period.
