Excellent hotel I would recommend this hotel .Location excellent The staff in this hotel are the best i have came across for a long time they are so friendly and helpful nothing is trouble for them they are so welcoming, and any time you enter the hotel they have a nice hello for you.
The rooms are nice and large and i must say the best thing about the rooms were the beds the best sleep i have ever had in any hotel.

The breakfast was excellent also and such a great choice.

I would recommend this hotel to any one who is thinking of going to Bruges.

Location excellent
Staff / Service excellent and best of all a good night sleep.

We have stayed in several other Nh hotels and the service here as always was great. The beds in NH hotles are wonderful - duvet on top and duvet underneath which makes for restful sleep. We had a very quiet room - second floor over the garden as other rooms can be subject to traffic noise. The bar in the hotel is very quaint as is the hotel - a modern interior in an old style building. The hotel is very well located - close to restaurants in Zand square and neignbouring streets, a nearby street carrefour and opposite the tourist info. However if you arrive in the rain don't expect to find a taxi at the staion to take you to hotel - we had quite a problem and I think its worth having hotel no to hand to ask them to send a taxi.

NH Brugge is a worth staying place.

Location:
It is very centrally located.
Walk: 7 minutes walk from the train station (After coming out of station, when you hit the main road on a traffic light, walk straight at 12 o clock direction).
Taxi: You will find taxis at the exit of the train station.Taxi takes aprox. 7 Euros from station to hotel.
Bus: Bus station is 10 steps aways from the hotel.
Attractions: All attractions are at walking distance.

Rooms:
Rooms were spacious and clean. The mini bar was not working but when told to the management, they promptly offered to change the room.

Internet:
Internet was expensive in the room but it was free of charge at lobby. You get the voucher from reception (With username and password) which works for half an hour.

Staff:
Staff was really helpful in guiding regarding the city and its attractions. Converter was required for charging my laptop which was available at the reception ( Free of charge)

Over all, it was a great experience... Recommended to everyone

Great location, right next to the bus station and 5 minutes walk from the train station. And if you are there on a Saturday, the flea market is right on the doorstep. Friendly staff and nice buffet breakfast. The room we stayed in overlooked a small church and it was a soothing experience.

This hotel is nice enough, situated near the bus station, and a short walk to the markt square. The hotel staff were very polite and helpful, and the room itself was clean, the water pressure was poor so showering wasn't easy, but there was a sufficient range of toiletries and tea making equipment. We had views of the roof of the buildings in front of us, as the higher floors are set back. The TV had about three channels in English with surprisingly no British news channel, only a Belgium one with no subtitles. The bed was amazingly comfortable.
Breakfast was minimal, good selection of fruit juice, eggs were scrambled or boiled, bacon, cocktail sausages and beans, buffet style, choice of cereal, the fruit wasn't replaced during breakfast although fresh pastries were bought out. Sadly the young women replacing the buffet food had long hair, not tied back which wasn't appetising as it sometimes touched the food laid out. Hot drinks were from a machine, self-service. Bar area was very nice and comfortable, particularly inviting, but as with most hotels expensive to drink.
There was a lot of dust around areas used less frequently, there was a cork recycling tube, great idea, very green, covered in dust, which spoilt the theme slightly, plus the pool is no longer in use. The ambience of the hotel was very comfortable, and we would stay again if we return to this part of Belgium.
The local area is full of history and shops - very touristy - meaning very expensive, there were a couple of supermarkets, best for beers. There are beer shops in town but double the price of the supermarket yet the stock was the same, 1 euro compared to 2.25 euro, so huge difference. Definitely pack walking shoes, for nights out the streets are all cobble stones so a high heel nightmare. Recommend the horse and carriage ride, by far the highlight of the visit, with a history of the area talk, 39 euros plus tip, lasts 35 mins. Be prepared to stand your ground when in the queue though.
Probably one of the most expensive areas I have stayed in during these times of recession, many clothes sales but no bargains, lots of yummy beer, but be very careful, it is very strong, the local Brugge beer Zot was very nice and not as knock out as some of the others.

Room Tip: All the rooms were quiet thanks to an old building with thick walls, it seemed that higher was bette...

Close to the station for those on foot, and close enough to the centre for sightseeing but in a quiet location. Rooms were lovely and spacious (although the carpet could have done with a vacuum). The breakfast in the hotel was a steal at the weekend (once we'd seen the price of food in Bruge generally), all you can eat and very good. Would definitely go there again. The (very) late check out on a Sunday was excellent.
