“Great value”

This is a great place to stay in Brugge. It's a short walk from the station and very close to all the shops and bars but still in a quiet location. The hotel furnishings are about ready for refurb but it's spotlessly clean and the staff are very helpful. We had a huge comfortable bed. We had room only but made full use of the free coffee and croissants in reception each morning, which is a very thoughtful bonus. We used the gym most days and there was only ever us in it. There are definitely some more luxurious hotels in Brugge but they are double the price. This one is hard to beat for value and we wanted for nothing. No complaints at all highly recommended.

I often stay here on business trips and it is perfectly located in the centre, close to the station and with a massive, safe underground car park across the road in t'Zand.
Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very good although not perhaps the most modern in style. I actually prefer these larger, older rooms.
The breakfast cost is too high but there are plenty of cafe offers around and about. Lots of nice restaurants in Bruges of course, but the evening meal in the hotel has never disappointed me.
They need to offer free wifi to be more competitive but this is a really nice hotel with its own swimming pool too. Very good value out of season but expensive in summer, as are all hotels in Bruges!

Managed to get a good rate at the very last minute, my first stay with the NH chain and it was very good. The hotel was a little on the dated side (not surprising given the architecture and character of the city). My only gripe was that the wifi was patchy. I got a deal with free breakfast, but don't think it would be worth the extortionate price if you had to pay on top

This is a great place to stay for access to the favorite sites in Brugge. An easy 15-minute walk from the train station, it is just across the road from Z'and Square and numerous restaurant and shopping options. Nicely appointed room with coffee/tea maker. Our bathroom included a full size bathtub with shower behind French doors, and environment friendly soap and shampoo samples. Disappointed with the restaurant -- service was slow and the food only ok.

Just returned from a 2 night break in Bruges. Opted to stay at the NH as this is a hotel chain the I would recommend and trust for good value and excellence, I was not let down on this trip either. About a 10 minute walk from the Markt and Burg in the heart of the city, very good quiet location.

Spent a few nights in Brugge late April 2013 in this hotel and was very impressed. The location is close to Brugge Train Station (A short walk) and access to the city centre is very good.
Staff were very friendly and attentive, breakfast was excellent, room was very nice and also clean. Overall a very pleasant stay in a very picturesque city.

This is a very nice hotel, convenient for the train station and the city center. Large rooms, tea and coffee making equipment, fridge, tv, hair dryer and air conditioning, an old building but a very modern, tasteful and comfortable renovation. Lifts available to upper floors. Very friendly and helpful staff with excellent English. We didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on the food although the menu looked good if a little expensive, to be expected in a hotel. No need for a taxi from the station, only a ten or fifteen minute traffic free walk, from the station building exit, cross the square and to the left, you will see a zebra type crossing where the station access road joins the main road. Cross the crossing and follow the cycle/walkway pink path to the left of the main road, (no need to cross or go onto the main road), after about 100 meters the path veers away from the main road and down into a subway, follow the path and take the first road on the right when you come up from the subway, the hotel is on the left hand side of this road, about 500-600 meters? Just by the hotel there is a large square where the bus station is situated, cross the square and there are two roads which will take you straight into the town center, hotel reception can provide a good street map showing all the main tourist attractions. Lots of shops and restaurants on the way into town.

Room Tip: We had 417 and 419, both really good sized rooms, there is no traffic noise so room location is not...
