This is a lovely hotel. Staff were great. Right on the city doorstep. Brugge is a highlight of our tour thus far. Love this city and hotel. Would love to come back and would be more than happy to stay here.

Lovely hotel located down a side street but ideally placed to visit the sights of Bruges. Parking is available in an underground carpark under T'Zand square opposite the hotel at 8 euros for 24hrs, although you can park the car outside the hotel to load and unload your bags. Friendly check in staff, nice big room with two double beds and space for a travel cot which they provided at no extra cost.

having just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel we wanted to let other guests know about our wonderful experience. the hotel is in a very good location, only a 10 mins walk into the main markt square. all the staff are pleasant and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. breakfasts, although basic, were extremely healthy and filling, with a nice variety of food. the room was a deluxe twin room and was extremely comfortable, the bed was amazing and pillows just right. the furnishings throughout the hotel were classic and tastefully decorated. we would have no hesitation in staying here again and would definitely recommend it to others.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the garden side are much quieter

When we first arrived at the hotel we were impressed with the welcoming reception (even though from the outside this hotel doesn't look like much!) and the reception clerk we encountered was incredibly helpful in providing us with a town map (even though we'd already picked one up from the tourist information centre) and guiding us to all the major city highlights.
Check in was easy but I was disappointed we weren't offered any helps up to our room with our bags.
Room was nice and spacious, despite the terrible view over a rooftop and the AC units! Tea/coffee making facilities and the usual overpriced mini bar.
We only stayed 2 nights and didn't pay for the breakfast which was 20euros per person each morning(!), our advise would be to indulge in some of the local breakfast offerings at the many tea rooms and cafes nearby serving Belgian waffles.
Upon checking out of the hotel we both said how good a stay it was and that we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone else, but then...on our drive back to the Eurotunnel we realised we'd left something in the room so I called the hotel. They were SO UHELPFUL and despite several phone calls over the next day or so, nobody cared to help us in retrieving our belongings back from the room. I've never been so angry with a service from a hotel of this standard before. Thus we would NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. Each different person I spoke to didn't care a single ounce for helping us and despite me initially phoning only 3 hours since checkout, I was told nobody was able to go and check the room for us, even though I could tell them the exact whereabouts of the items.
It would seem their Head Maid did away with our things and therefore denied any knowledge of having found them!
Absolutely nothing wrong with our trip until this point but this was not a happy ending to our stay at the NH Bruges.

During my recent stay in Brugge, the NH was one of the more pleasant experiences.
Service was friendly and competent. Location is ideal, only 3 mins walking distance from a big public underground garage (ca. 9€ a day)

BEWARE:
We had a internet discount room (95€), and we were slightly disturbed by early construction noise taking place from 8am onwards (wing is probably under renovation, hence the discount).
BUT the room was nice: cute décor (aesthetic wallpapers), well-equipped (complimentary espresso machine!) and tidy. The bed was comfy.
Minus: the air-conditioning is sorta noisy, if you want to open the windows you only hear the noise of all the floor's extracted air blowing. The bathroom tiles need renovation (once again hence the discount). If you need flat screens, they didn't have it. TV choice also a little disappointing (barely English channels, no German channels, only French and Dutch)

Overall: cannot complain for the rate, it was good. I wouldn't stay here though for 200€ or more, which was their regular price.

We visited Brugges last week and booked as part of a Eurostar package. The hotel was conveniently located on a quiet street. Check-in was painless and the staff was quite attentive and helpful.

The room was very tastefully decorated, quite, and comfortable. Unfortunately, they had two single beds pushed together and they would not stay put! I didn't sleep exceptionally well for fear of ending up down the crack. The room wasn't as clean as it should be, with some black spots in the shower and dust apparent on the walls.

All in all, a good value for what we paid but would have appreciated a bit of extra care in the cleaning standards.
