During the last week of August we decided to rediscover the Venice of the north. Needless to say there is so much to discover Brugge that you want a hotel that is well located and accessible. Since I was travelling my wife and two year old toddler we also required a decent level of comfort. NH Brugge was perfect for us. Located at the 't Zand square just as you enter the the medieval city where a number of restaurants and the main tourist office are found.
We love to discover a new city by foot and we decided to park our car at Brugge central station for euro 3/day + free return bus ride to the city center. There is another alternative right at the 't Zande square ( a bit pricier but still reasonable).
We booked our stay via booking.com and we're not disappointed for the Eur 150/ night which included a wholesome organic (antioxidant) breakfast and we were spoiled with a lush living room with 2 twin beds, that we joined together. We learned that on weekends NH spoils guest with late breakfast(almost brunch) and late check out as well.
My only minor suggestion would be to have some variety in the breakfast menu that, although quite substantial and wholesome for European standards, was same for both the days we spent.
