We stayed over New Year in a nice spacious room overlooking the back courtyard. Very happy with service and price (for Bruges). Front desk booked us a perfect dinner for New Year's Eve. Parking can be a little tricky due to the one way system.

Stayed two night at the start of December. The hotel is easy to find from the ring road, and has the bonus of a large car park (15 Euros for 24 hours, but Bruges parking is at a premium). Had a room overlooking the street that was slightly small, but very comfortable. The room price averaged out at around 120 Euros per night, which would have seemed good value before the exchange rate plummeted.

Hotel is generally very peaceful, and staff were very helpful. Breakfast was a bit pricey at 15 Euros each, but excellent choice of food, and it kept you going most of the day (shame when there's so much in the town you want to eat!).

Easy walking distance from the main attractions. Very close to the street where most of the chocolate shops are, so be warned.

Would definitely use again .

Booked a 5 day break with Sphere staying at the above hotel for 3 nights.( other 2 on the boat.)
Found the hotel extremely comfortable with excellent service from the word go.
Rooms good size but NO coffee/tea making facilities. The hotel however supplied hot water and coffee in the bar area which was gratis. Usual buffet breakfast to suit all tastes.

Good location a couple of blocks away from the main streets. Nice and quiet garden and terrace. Reception, breakfast room and bar are all very nice and the conference room on the ground floor was just perfect; bright and comfortable with views both to the garden and terrace. My room in the main building was spacious and quite basic, with a good bed and a large bathroom. Shower in the tub was fine. A stained carpet was not so nice and there were problems with connecting to the wireless internet both for me and my colleagues in other rooms. Very good buffet breakfast, nice and helpful staff. Room was EUR 84 and breakfast EUR 16 which I found to be excellent value.

This hotel is a little gem, very modern and stylish , comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The courtyard and garden are an added bonus in the city and it was enjoyable to sit and relax in the sunshine, enjoying a cup of the free coffee and tea provided every day. Breakfast offered a wide selection of breads, cold meats and cheeses, with a hot section - and a chocolate fountain! My one reservation would be that the baths are huge and very deep, and as the shower in my room and my friend's was over the bath, people with arthritis may have difficulty in getting in and out. I don't know if the hotel has rooms with walk in showers.

Restaurant meals are quite expensive, particularly with the £ versus Euro exchange rate at present, but many restaurants offer a three course fixed price meal from about 16-29 euros, and we found these excellent. De Postiljon, just round the corner from the Montanus in Katelijnestraat, and Arnie's, in Wollestrat ( near the Markt) were both excellent.
