Our fourth stay in this hotel, and we would always stay here when visiting Bruges. Centrally located, clean, comfortable rooms, excellent helpful staff. Get a deal which includes breakfast - everything you could ask for to eat. Set back from the road in a courtyard, the hotel is quiet, the rooms a generous size with an extra door between the room and corridor and separate bathroom and toilet. Very well thought out. Highly recommended!

I arrived in Brugge at 3 A.M in the morning, arrived at the hotel and said that the room was not ready. I waited until 5 A.M until i could sleep, i asked for a wake up call at 7:30, which i did not receive, and ended up being late for my meeting. When I got back, i was approached bu my superior, who had booked the room for me, saying the maid could not clean the room because it was to dirty, and the maid hadden't just complained to my superior, he had gotten the people at the reception to email the CEO of my company. The problem was that when i got up 30 minutes late to the meeting i had to rush out of the room, so i had pulled apart my suitcase to find my suit, and i was not able to clean the mess up. I apologised, and then left the room so the maid could clean up. When i got back, i went into my room to find that she had only cleaned the bathroom, but she didn't change the sheets. I called the service, and they said to me " that will cost you 5 euro for a second change today." I told her that no one had change the sheets, but she did not believe me. I said "Ok don't bother then" and five minutes later.... a cleaner had arrived at the room, asking me for the 5 euros. I shut the door on her.
When i checked out the next day, the receptionist asked me to pay 100 euros for a messy room fee. I then told them I only had a few clothes on the floor and it was claimed to be un-cleanable. They ended up getting the hotel manager to make me pay 100 euros and apologise to the cleaner. It was just terrible.

This hotel is located within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. It is very welcoming and clean. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. Huge variery at the breakfast buffet and all fresh. Only downside was that our room was at the back of the hotel - I would have preferred to look over the forecourt and hotel opposite.

Had a great stay at this hotel begining of december. Went to the Christmas market in Bruges and whanted a good hotel near to the locations. The Novotel ticked the box.
Rooms were large and comfortable, missed having a bath as there is just a shower.
The brakfast was reaaly good with a varied selection.
The public car park is at the side of the hotel and was about 8.50 euros per 24 hours.
Basic bar in the hotel modern decor, after midnight you can purchase a beer but you are not allowed to rink it at the bar, you have to either go to your room or move over to the lounge area in the lobby.
The hotel shares a courtyard with the Ibis.
Overall a good hotel and yes we would return.

Room Tip: our room was 312 which overlooked the front of the hotel courtyard

Great hotel, great situation only a couple of minutes walk from the main town square and the Christmas market.
Wouldn't have breakfast in the hotel, though. 20 euros per person is extremely pricey - we went to a cafe just 100 yards from the hotel and had a fabulous breakfast for 5.50 euros.
The room was just what we wanted, clean and well looked after. Free wifi was a real plus too.
The bar was okay, decent choice of beers, and not overly priced.
All in all, good place to stay if visiting Bruges, and would we go again......YES.

had a lovely 3 night stay in the Novotel in Bruges. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and check in was quick. The hotel rooms are very clean with comfortable beds and bedrooms include safe, t.v. minibar/fridge, kettle, hairdryer, toileteries, seating area etc. The hotel is very quiet and peaceful and is only about 10 minute walk into the main parts of the city (Markkt etc). The Christmas market was a bit of a disappointment as a lot of the stalls close by late afternoon. But the city itself is a brilliant place to visit and has fantastic architecture and medieval history. There are lots of museums and galleries to visit and the City Bruge visitors card (available from the Concertgebouw) at 35 euro is great value. Big thank you to the Novotel staff as we didn't realise we had left behind a box of jewellery in the room and it has arrived home to us in England today. Many thanks for sending this and for making us so welcome during our stay.

Hotel is located in a nice place, very close to main attractions and monuments.
It's a pity the breakfast is too expensive and the bedroom, including the double bed, is quite small compared to the amount paid.
I'd suggest it for people having to spend most of their time outside and use the room only to sleep
