We stayed here on a three night break - the staff were quite exceptional. During our stay my husband had toothache and the receptionist went to considerable trouble to organise a dentist, gave us times of buses and a location map. She probably spent the best part of half an hour on just this quest! The hotel is centrally located being only a few minutes walk from the market square. We had a lovely room, quiet, well laid out and spotlessly clean. The buffet breakfast was good with plenty of choice. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Room Tip: It would probably make sense to overlook the garden at the rear of the hotel rather than the side or...

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Navarra from 29th July to 1st August on a 3 night break with Cresta. We had seen a lot of positive things about the hotel on Trip and it certainly lived up to its reputation. Very clean, very porfessionally run with spacious rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast was excellent as self service and a full English was availble - given the cost of everyhting in Bruges this really set us up for the day. My wife and I loved Bruges and intend to come back next year and stay at the same hotel. The one negative was that we were in room 190 at the front of the hotel and it was noisy with the window open (the street is surprisingly busy). Next year we will ask for a room at the back or the side bit all in all very pleasant stay. I liked the piano bar and the fact we could come back and relax with cocktails and the complimentary coffee served 11am to 1pm. It is a hotel that has catered for the details but the hotels proximity to the centre is a massive 'plus'.

Room Tip: If possible try to avoid a room at the front of hotle as can be a bit noisy.

I stayed here for one night with 2 young children. The family suite was enormous and beautifully decorated. The decor in the hotel was fantastic. The pool was great, my children loved it as it had lights in that changed colour. It was a little chilly but this was perfect for us as we had spent a very hot day exploring Bruges. The location was perfect and it had its own residents car park which was extremely handy. An excellent breakfast too.

Been to this hotel on numerous occasions and it is lovely.
In an excellent location, lovely quiet room overlooking the garden.
Plenty of choice at breakfast, we preferred to go down early as it gets quite busy.
Very pleasant, helpful staff.
Looking forward to going back again.

Everything about it was fabulous!! I would stay there again no question! The pool is awesome as well! The location is perfect as it is only a few minute walk to the main square. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean. The breakfast was wonderful with many delicious choices. The bar was a very relaxing atmosphere as was the rest of the hotel with soft jazz music piped in. Everything was first class in this hotel.

Perfect for visiting the centre of Bruges. Lovely public areas in the hotel, I have marked the rooms down as average only because it was a little bland, bit of a let down after seeing the rest of the hotel, big nicely decorated bathroom though. All spotlessly clean too. Picked because of car park on site. However it is on first come first served basis. £17 a night too!

Just returned from a 3 night break, staying at Hotel Navarra.

We got a taxi from Bruges train station for €8 (simply because we've never been to Bruges before) but got a bus back to the train station, €2 p/p. Bus stop a short walk from the hotel.

We got a summer offer at the hotel, 3 nights for the price of 2 which made it very good value. The hotel was in a great location, a very short walk from Market Square, many bars and restaurants etc. The bedroom was large, with all the facilities you need - wifi, tv, safe, minibar, comfortable beds, air con/heating system (although this was set to 21 degrees minimum - it felt much colder than that at times, and turned itself off sometimes, then it was too hot!!), nice bathroom with shower over the bath and shower gel, shampoo etc. Cleaned daily, towels replaced as required.

All of the staff we spoke to were very nice and helpful, particularly when we checked in at reception. We didn't eat or drink at the hotel, as there were so many other places we wanted to try. We found the food very expensive in Bruges but had some nice meals.

Enjoyed a tour around de halve maan brewery, canal boat trip, horse/carriage ride around the centre and we went to the Memling museum (old hospital) which was ok.

We had some great meals. We ate at Cambrinus (well worth a visit - you must book. It was reasonable (for Bruges!) and lots of beers to try), Poules Moules and In Den Wittenkop - on the same street as the hotel, very good but again have to book as very small.

t' Brugs Beertje is a great place to visit - a small beer academy, with loads of choice and great atmosphere. Not a patch on the Beer Wall, which didn't have the beers we wanted (that they had on display!!).
