Have just spent the weekend at this hotel. The location is perfect, being within walking distance of all the main sights. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant, this is not a problem as there are many places to eat close by. Our room, 001, was spacious as was the bathroom. We arrived by car we were directed to a nearby underground car park. This was easy to find and cost 10 euro for the weekend. Breakfast was lovely, usual choice of pastries, cereals, meats and cheeses etc. We did have an issue with hot water in our room, as in there wasn't any! However, within 15 minutes of reporting the problem, the issue was fixed. I would definitely recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

I booked this hotel for a long weekend winter break and was expecting a very comfortable stay.Unfortunately the room was freezing on arrival as the heaters in the room were switched off.
The breakfast buffet was extremely disappointing for a four star hotel. The egg and bacon was cold. The croissants were soft, the type bought from a packet in a supermarket, certainly not freshly baked.
The free wi-fi did not work for the majority of our stay.

Room Tip: There are much higher quality hotels for the same money.

As everyone must know, Bruges is indeed a very special place. Just when you think you have seem the most beautiful square or canal, you turn the corner and....well, it gets better with every step. Best Western Acacia is a great choice in Bruge - reasonably priced and wonderfully located in the centre of the historic town and they can even arrange a car park ( a big plus in this town!). Room and bedding very comfortable, nice atmosphere and great staff all of whom seem to speak excellent English. Breakfast is great too and this is a very welcoming place to return to after a hard days sight seeing. Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed here just after New Year 2014 and really enjoyed our three nights stay. It is a very comfortable hotel in a superb central location, no need for buses and leave the car at home as everything is within walking distance. The breakfast is excellent with a great choice of cooked and continental food. There's a comfortable lounge and bar and tea and coffee making facilities can be requested from reception at no extra charge. Rooms are a good size and the bathrooms are well equipped and clean. Recommended for a good stay in Bruges.
Here's a tip about Bruges, leave high heels at home because all the streets and roads are cobbled, so you need comfortable flat shoes with thickish soles!!

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the second floor away from the street.

We stayed at the Hotel Acacia for five nights at the beginning of December. From the time we entered the hotel until we left we were delighted.
We received a warm welcome and were given simple and concise instructions on how to get to the nearest car park, which was under five minutes away.
The room was large and spacious. House keeping was faultless and the breakfast was first class. Breakfast included the usual breads, cheese, cold meats etc that you would expect but there was also smoked salmon and the most heavenly scrambled eggs and beautiful smoked bacon. we didn't need to eat until dinner.
On arrival I asked at reception for tea and coffee making facilities and was duly handed a tray with you could need neatly arranged.
The star of this hotel is of course Coco their African Grey parrot who is a delight.
I adore Brugge and I will definitely be staying at beautifully central hotel. It is the only four star hotel near the Markt and well worth every penny.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room.

Stayed for the Christmas market (which itself was a little disappointing) with friends and the hotel could not be in a better position in the lovely city of Bruges. As always a bit of an adventure driving through the cobbled one way streets of Bruges to reach the hotel, but once there you are so close to the city centre that you can forget the car and amble through the streets. Hotel has its own car park which is a real bonus - just watch out for the steep entrance into it! Staff were friendly and speak excellent English. Be aware that you have to ask for tea and coffee facilities at reception, i.e. they are not automatically in your room. Rooms all good size and with large bathrooms. One of our friends has a little trouble with stairs and although there is a lift, our request when booking for a ground floor room was met.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the lift!

Located in a quiet street just a 3 minute stroll from the main square, maybe 300m away! My room was a very good size with a modern bathroom. The service I received was superb. Would stay here again if visiting Bruges!
