“Nice central hotel”
Reviewed 22 August 2012

This hotel is located on the Burg Square-a quiet square in the old city. The hotel is pricey for what it offers-clean, fairly basic rooms at Bruge-inflated prices. but it's fine and staff is very helpful and friendly.

Stayed at Hotel for one night in a family room, which was spacious, comfortable and maintained to a very high standard. I had e-mailed Reception ahead of our trip to ask if we could leave luggage upon our arrival before the check in time. I received a prompt and courteous response saying they had a luggage room for us to use. Upon arrival, however, we were informed that our room was available, 10.30 a.m. and that e could check in. Reception staff spoke perfect English and were very helpful. Location of the hotel is perfect and we had no problems accessing wi fi from the room, at no cost.
Would definitely stay here again.
Many thanks to the staff, we had a very enjoyable visit to Bruges.

Great location just off the main town square. Bruge is an old city with picturesque waterways and the feel of the hotel fits the feel of the town even though it if fairly new built. Very comfortable rooms with all the mod cons you would expect. The gent at reception was warm and helpful. Overall a great spot. Note parking is extra a EUR 21 per day

My family and I stayed overnight at this hotel which I thought to be expensive, but turned out to be reasonable due to its location and quality of service. It's a stone's throw away from the center of Brugge and easy to locate with a satnav. As soon as we checked in, we were given a map of where to go and the discounts that go with it. The hotel has a pool and a gym on the top floor, free wifi and of course, english speaking staff. Because we did a driving holiday we used the carpark in the basement, we payed about 21.00 euros compared to 35.00 eur if you are not a guest. Did I also tell you that it's next to an Irish pub?

My family and I stayed here for a quick overnight visit to Brugge and enjoyed it very much. It is a very nice hotel--clean, comfortable, with a spacious lobby and spacious rooms. The location is perfect--it is just on the edge of the big sites, so it is convenient and a short walk to the two main squares, but it is quiet and not swarmed by tourists. We arrived too early to get into our room, so we had lunch in their restaurant--their bolognese was tasty.

Our only complaint is that the wifi, which was expensive, was awful. I had some work to do but was unable to do because it took forever to download. There is no excuse for that in a big international hotel like this. It is bad enough that they charge you, even worse that the system is so poor. We had stayed at a small, 3 star independent hotel in Paris that had free wifi that worked great--it should be the same in a big 4 star hotel.

Brugge itself is great--we are so glad we went.

We asked the receptionist for suggestions for dinner. One very popular place around the corner had a long line. We said we wanted to try Belgian food at the Bistro level (not super expensive), and she sent us to a place that charged 30 euros for a meal. We were tired and hungry, but unwilling to pay that much. So we came upon Venice, a little restaurant just a block from the main square (market). We weren't expecting much, we just wanted food at this point. But the food was great! I ordered the Flemish stew--it was superb! Of the three times I tried it in Belgium, this was by far the best. My husband had the scampi, which was perfectly done and delicious. Our son had the chicken. All very reasonably priced.

Had a mini suite - very nice hotel room. The hotel is placed in the very middle of Brügge. Can be difficult to find by foot , so get a taxi if not by car.
Nothing special besides taht to say on the hotel, since I spent my time at the conference or working - but in general it was a positive experience.

This hotel is right in the old centre of Brugge. Checking in, was very efficient and friendly. As a Platinum Priority Club member, I was upgraded to a suite and there was a box of Belgian Chocolates in the room as a welcome. From the room we had a view of the old City Hall and the Belfort tower. Nice places to eat are at walking distance. Parking is possible in the hotel (at a charge) or closeby in the streets, where parking is free after 20:00.
