“Perfect location!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 April 2013

So close to everything, so easy to walk around. Rooms were okay, clean and spacious enough, although not much of a view from our room on the 2nd floor (209) Service at the front desk was a little hit and miss. Frst day didnt encounter anyone overly helpful. But on check out, we had an extremely helpful gent, who wanted to tellus where to go to see more of the Ronde Van Vlaandren that we were visiting Brugge to watch. Lovely place. Would stay here again, if I found a good rate.

This was our first stay in Brugge and probably won't be our last. We arrived at the hotel at approximately 11am, hoping just to be able to drop our luggage off, but the gentleman on reception very helpfully checked to see if our room was available to check in, which it was so we were able to refresh from our journey before sightseeing Brugge. Our room overlooked The Burg and you could hear the horse and carriages and the lovely bells ringing from the church tower. The hotel was very clean, customer service at reception was excellent. The hotel was in a great location, being just minutes walk away from the market square. Breakfast was very good with a good choice being offered, constantly being replenished.
I would definitely recommend for a short stay in Brugge.

Room Tip: try and get a room overlooking the square.

This hotel was one of our favorites on our last trip to Europe. The hotel has a great location and is a short walk to the main town square. It's off the main drag a bit, so you get a little bit of privacy. There are tons of great shops and restaurants nearby. The property is modern yet still retains a bit of that old European feel. The bed was super comfortable and I really enjoyed the complimentary bottles of mineral water in the room. The bathroom was roomy and clean. The only downsides is that when we were there in December, the room was stifling hot. We had to keep the windows open in order to stay comfortable. Unfortunately, there was a lot of street noise from the late-night drinkers and street sweepers. Voices really carry in this town, so if you are a light sleeper it's a good idea to bring ear plugs. Other than that, we had a great stay! You can't go wrong with this hotel!

First time staying at a Crowne Plaza hotel and I must say I am throughly impressed. The staff was very pleasant and helpful in providing directions, recommendations and information about Brugge. We booked a room with two queen beds and paid about $200 for the night including breakfast. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The hotel is located in a great location right next to the town square and about a 5 minute walk from the center of town. They also have a restaurant with what looked like pretty good food. We didn't eat there but would be willing to try it if we came back again. The hotel also has it's own parking garage which is pretty secure, although it costs about $25 to park there. Overall a great experience that I would recommend to anyone visiting Brugge.

This hotel is what you would expect from a Crowne Plaza, nice rooms, friendly staff. But the two most positives are its location and the history of the spot where the hotel is built. The location is amazing, literally in the Burg and about 100 meters from the Markt. The hotel is built upon the ruins of a medieval church and some of the items found, including tombs, during its construction are well-displayed in the lower level of the hotel. The breakfast was nice, but at 23 euros per person you are much better off finding other breakfast options within a 2-block area.

Room Tip: Try to get a room overlooking the square with a view of the clock tower.

i stayed for one night in this hotel. The staff were so friendly and helped us with every question we asked.
The room was good enough but does not view to the streets. We were welcomed by chocolate and sparkling water in the room which was very kind.
The location is awesome too, too close to the markets and the center. We didn't ask for breakfast because it's expensive, but you can find small cafés near it where we had breakfast under the sun and watching the horses crossing the roads.

Room Tip: Choose a room which gives the view to the streets. If your room is inside you can benefit by a great...

This hotel is marvellously situated 100 metres from the Town Square. As a platinum priority club member I was upgraded to a junior suite (506) which proved a wonderful view of the square. The room was spacious with separate lounge room. Free wifi and great staff.
