with some rooms overlooking the square and the basilica of the wholly blood, the location is superbly placed for the main sights. at check in we received an upgrade to a suite which was very spacious and comfortable with two large windows and a cosy seating area.
Very clean and friendly staff. equipped with Nespresso machine and kettle for your refreshment needs. bathroom was a good size with a shower in bath. the toilet was separate but housed in a tiny space. very quiet despite being on a main square. the check in staff were very pleasant and efficient offering good advice and this was complimented by further tremendous help from the concierge (His name was Werner).
Head to the side streets nearby for high-class bars and restaurants rather than the 'tourist trap' facilities in the markt square. Try the bakery 'Le Pain Quotitien' for an incredible breakfast and Cuvee wine bar for lunch/evening nibbles and a good glass.

Room Tip: we stayed in 706 which was a suite and was probably the best room in terms of view.

The hotel is very clean and well organised, rooms are to a good standard as expected from this chain but the most important thing is the location. Sitting outside on a sunny day at the hotels restaurant overlooking the square was a lovely experience, the view is lovely and the odd horse and cart add to the atmosphere. The pool is small but nice as is the gym but if you are taking your kit then go for a run outside, the streets are empty at 7am but the views are fantastic.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights while attending a conference (which was also at this hotel). The location is great, and within easy walking distance of any of Brugges attractions. The hotel was clean, front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the conference ran smoothly. The room was on the rear boundary of the hotel, and there was some noise from vehicles and pedestrians late at night, but it was not a major problem. My wife accompanied me, and we were allocated a very large and comfortable room. If you want the best of the old town, combined with a modern hotel, I would recommend you consider this hotel.

Room Tip: Keep off the rear boundary

We arrived in Brugge on a race day during the fair. We were not aware of the race until the taxi driver outside the train station told us "impossible to take you to your hotel" because of the race. So armed with a smart phone and apps, we trudged through town to the hotel. We encountered no barriers that would have precluded the driver from getting us to our destination. Maybe it was too short of a trip for him to bother? Well, the money was better in our pocket than in his, so be it.

Within 20 minutes we entered the hotel. The phrase "location, location, location" came immediately to mind. We were on the square just steps away from the central market. The hotel is clean and modern on the inside, and the outside motif does not make it seem out of place in this very old city. The staff was professional, and the rooms are well appointed. If traveling in this region again, I would not hesitate to stay here again

We stayed at this hotel in April 2014 (Easter Sunday) and had a great time. Clean rooms and very helpful, courteous staff.

It is close to the Bruges Belfry and minutes away to most attractions. Excellent eateries around--try the Prestige Patisserie on 12-14, Vlamingstraat, Bruges 8000, Belgium for an amazing breakfast (opens early morning).
