The hotel was advertised as having two restaurants and as weather was wet we decided to stay in the hotel only to find the only restaurant we liked had closed sometime before we arrived. We ate at the bar instead and although the barman was very nice it was obvious we were eating microwave meals as he left the kitchen door open food was very poor. We were given discount vouchers for a restaurant that wasn't open. The room was big but very shabby with lights not working pillows were like sleeping on a paving slab, power sockets hanging off the wall.In my opinion it would be lucky to reach a two star rating and relies on the beautiful city of Bruges and its location on the canal to attract custom. We are going back to Bruges at Christmas but will certainly not use this hotel

Stayed at this hotel back in 2011 on our first visit to Bruges. Really love the city and the location of this hotel is ideal and it is also right on the canal which is really nice. The staff at the hotel were really welcoming. The only downside is the hotel is in need of a bit of a revamp, and if you do not smoke, really stipulate you do not want to be near a smoking room as the smell does spread throughout the hallways.

Good sized clean rooms. Some modernising wouldn't go amiss. Service at hotel good. Breakfast nice. Good location for exploring Bruges.

We stayed here one night while touring Bruges. The staff at reception was very friendly and helpful, and let us check into our room early. No A/C, so the room was stuff. We opened the windows, which didn't have screens, and mosquitos came in, so that was the end of that. The decor is a bit tired, the pillows were lumpy, the place is in need of some refurbishing. However, it was very clean, and had all we needed. The included breakfast was a nice bonus, being that hotel breakfasts can easily set you back 20 euros a piece.

The hotel is situated on a lovely cobblestone street and was very accessible to the city center. The room was quite warm since the a/c didn't seem to push out enough cool air. The staff was very pleasant and made the stay enjoyable.
