The hotel really is in a central location a few minutes walk from the main square, yet with relatively easy access by car, from the ring road. There are some places where you can park free (all day) almost opposite the hotel (but check because most of the areas are metered).
The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The breakfast room is functional, the breakfast itself the standard fare.
Would stay in this hotel again.

Room Tip: The room I had initially on the ground floor has a window to a side street, which some people may wish to avoid.

This hotel is situated very near the center and the rooms are quite nice. The breakfast is good and the reception is quite helpful. The beds are not that comfortable. The thing that really annoyed me was that they advertised that they had WIFI and one would expect that this included in the already inflated hotel price. However you have to pay per device using the internet if you want an average level of connection. Other than the internet... which probably annoyed me disproportionally there is nothing about the hotel that would make me say it was better than average, nothing particularly memorable or notable!

Probably one of the hotels with less outside noise in Bruge (Brugge? Bruges?) as it is situated on a quiet street a few minutes walk from The Market. Good size room and good standard breakfast. Japnese restaurant looked authentic although we did not eat there. Noticed an architect with plans in the bar area so perhaps some modernisation is forthcoming! Excercise room with good equipment although not very cool...

Room Tip: Ask for the street side...

The hotel was advertised as having two restaurants and as weather was wet we decided to stay in the hotel only to find the only restaurant we liked had closed sometime before we arrived. We ate at the bar instead and although the barman was very nice it was obvious we were eating microwave meals as he left the kitchen door open food was very poor. We were given discount vouchers for a restaurant that wasn't open. The room was big but very shabby with lights not working pillows were like sleeping on a paving slab, power sockets hanging off the wall.In my opinion it would be lucky to reach a two star rating and relies on the beautiful city of Bruges and its location on the canal to attract custom. We are going back to Bruges at Christmas but will certainly not use this hotel

Stayed at this hotel back in 2011 on our first visit to Bruges. Really love the city and the location of this hotel is ideal and it is also right on the canal which is really nice. The staff at the hotel were really welcoming. The only downside is the hotel is in need of a bit of a revamp, and if you do not smoke, really stipulate you do not want to be near a smoking room as the smell does spread throughout the hallways.
