A very well situated hotel near to the Markt in the centre of Brugge. The hotel staff are first rate, English is easily understood along with many other European languages. The rooms are comfortable with an open aspect to storage. This makes checking what you have left behind easier when you leave. The only slight down side was the dimly light bathroom that made using the facilities a little difficult and did not show the room to its best advantage. Similar dim lights were in the main room that did not show the room at its best. A great price and welcoming and professional attitude mean I will hopefully be returning soon. A great place to stay.

Room Tip: The front of the hotel can be noisy due to street noise such as refuse lorries and delivery vans so...

The hotel is centrally located, the rooms are tidy and staff are good. We just had 2 issues which were pretty major ones, Firstly, every movement from the room above us was amplified through the ceilling to the point where it would wake us up, and secondly the shower wouldn't get warmer than luke warm. We were in the newly built section so it may just be that part of the hotel. Those issues aside the hotel and staff were great.

Stayed at Martin's for 3 nights this week, great location for exploring the city and good value, clean and comfy rooms. We had a problem with noisy people staying in an adjacent room, thin walls meant we could hear everything, however we would stay here again if visiting.

This hotel could not be better located. It is right behind the Belfry.
It is very good as a hotel for group holidays and manages the number of holidaymakers very well. It is clean and efficient and the staff are all both helpful and friendly. Our room was small but comfortable.
The bar on the groundfloor is particularly good value during Happy Hour.

Having visited Brugge on many occasions I usually stay in the Crowne Plaza, Burg, however on this weekend they were full so I booked Martin's Hotel and this will now be my choice for future stays. The location simply cannot be beaten within seconds you are at the famous Belfry which is in the middle of the main square where there is many shops bars at restaurants.Upon checking in the staff were polite and welcoming and the car park under the hotel was larger than other's in the area and we had no problem parking two cars however I would imagine on busy nights these spaces will fly so best to arrive near to the 15:00 check in time as possible. The hotel is very wheelchair friendly one of our party was in a wheel chair they had a lovely ground floor Disabled room with wide doors and a very large bathroom/wetroom. There is no restrictions to get to other rooms as one person has claimed in their review as we had rooms on all floors and no stairs were seen. Our other rooms were very warm spacious and clean and the beds were of excellent quality and a good night sleep was had. The hotel does have a restaurant located within the grounds, however Brugge is full of fantastic restaurants so we did not eat at the hotel. The bar is reasonably priced and all rooms have a mini bar however if you just wanted soft Drinks or to take drinks back to the room there is a Carrefour mini supermarket within 5 minutes walk across the square where you can buy more reasonably priced soft Drinks or beer if you wish. Great location, fantastic staff a very warm and welcoming hotel should be more that 3 star.

An excellent hotel, in an excellent location, friendly and helpful staff. My brother accidentally left his passport in our room the day we checked out and the hotel was very helpful in respect of getting it back to us!.
Very clean rooms and our room on the 2nd floor was really quiet considering how close the belfry is!
My only criticism is how expensive breakfast is,so we didn't bother! At €17 it's a bit steep!. That aside I would wholeheartedly recommend this super hotel.
