Stayed at Martin's for a long weekend break with my wife. The city of Brugge is a great tourist attraction and this hotel is located just about as centrally as you can get. The staff are all very efficent and friendly and the breakfast is plentiful and worth paying the extra for. The hotel itself is nothing special; clean, well located and very functional. Brugge is a very historic city with a lot of period buildings - this isn't one of them; it is very modern and as for the the basic/standard rooms - think up market Travellodge. There are better rooms, but you pay more. Good value for seeing the city, but no great charm or atmosphere. However, it was good for waht it is and I would stay again.

Great hotel just off the main square and within walking distance of everything. Excellent value for its perfect location. Many bars are close buy for sampling the worlds finest beers. Prices vary enormously so check carefully before you buy.

Room Tip: Great value for less than 100 euros.

We stayed for 4 nights at this 3 star hotel in central Bruge. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, particularly on the front desk. Very clean room. Very comfortable beds.

When our hairdryer broke, we had the hotel maintenance staff up within minutes to try and fix it, and when he couldn't he replaced it with a new one within another 5 minutes.

Easy parking at reasonable rate. It doesn't have a restaurant, but it does a very good breakfast.

Slightly let down by the bar staff who weren't quite so quick to serve as they could have been. However, would definitely stay again.

One surprise to find in Bruge were the mosquitos. Take repellant.

Room Tip: Our room overlooked air con units - slightly noisy, but not so much as to disturb at night. However, you may want to ask to be away from this.

We had a nice cosy room last time we stayed at this hotel. This time we had a room on the 4th floor with hadly any light and concrete blocks half covering the windows, which made the room dark and unwelcoming. The room and bathroom were both OK - comfortable bed, English channels on TV. We arrived at 1.30pm and were not allowed to book in until 3pm by which time as everyone had been told the same there was a queue, therefore it took 15 minutes to be seen. Doesn't seem customer friendly, surely if a room is ready when someone is early they could be booked in (like every other hotel I've stayed in). Hotel is right in the centre of Bruges which is great. Bruges has lots of wonderful sights so hotel convenient. Parking expensive at E25 per day.

Room Tip: Do not have a "cosy" room on 4th floor
