This hotel is is the centre of Brugge and it's only a few seconds away from the "Markt". The rooms are large, for a city centre hotel and very quiet. They have air conditioning and plenty of storage space.
The breakfast are not just a continental breakfast but include bacon, eggs, sausage, baked beans and tomatoes along with the usual cereals. They only supply breakfast but not lunches or dinners.
The cost of drinks in the bar is higher than local places but they do have a "Happy Hour" between 8.00pm and 9.00pm when many drinks, especially the beers, are 1/2 price.
Check out is not until 11.00 am and they have a secure storage for luggage with free mini safes, not only in the rooms but also in the locked luggage storage area.
They have 3 lifts but the stairs, if you want to use them are hard to find.
I would stay in this hotel again as it is well placed, the staff all speak good english and are helpful.
It is better not to eat at the restaurants surrounding the Markt as they will rip you off. Move further afield and they are better. Allow a minimum 50 to 60 Euro.s for two of you to eat dinner.

Room Tip: ASk for a room overlooking the central courtyard.

Stayed here as part of a party. The hotel is well placed and not on a busy street, howerver you may notice the ringing of bells. The room was clean although storeage was not extensive but as we were only on a short visit it was OK. Breakfast was well presented with plenty of choice.Do not be put off by the fact that the hotel is used by groups they do not take over the place.

Room Tip: Breakfast only.

Stayed 4 nights in June on room only basis. Great location just off the market square with all its restaurants and local atmosphere. Reasonable walk from train station. Room was adequate size for a couple & was cleaned daily. Overlooked bar area which was a bit rowdy at times in the evenings. Safe in room did not work so had to use hotel safe for vaulables. Bruges itself is a lovely place, very olde worlde like York or Chester but on a bigger scale.

Just got back from a long weekend in Bruges and booked Martins hotel, a small Belgian hotel chain. Well what a delight, reception, rooms were all excellent and the location is fantastic, bar area could be a little more accomodating late at night (11.30ish, not looking to party all night) but overall definately a place to book and we will be going back. If you are lloking for a great hotel, centrally located with car parking, look no further, this is excellent value for money.

Very central location. Staff friendly and helpful. Compact room but clean. Found it a bit dim in the room as the decor is dark brown but worth staying for a short visit. The breakfast was good with plenty to choose from and loved the Patio setting.

We stayed for 2 nights, we wait almost 3 hours and finally got in the room.. it took age to ready the room! and the room doesnt have kettle, so need to go to bar for hot water, and if you want cup of tea you need to pay 3 euro... unbelievable! and also they charge wifi, 1 hour 5 euro and 24 hours 15 euro... it's just you need to pay for everything!!!

Stayed at Martin's for a long weekend break with my wife. The city of Brugge is a great tourist attraction and this hotel is located just about as centrally as you can get. The staff are all very efficent and friendly and the breakfast is plentiful and worth paying the extra for. The hotel itself is nothing special; clean, well located and very functional. Brugge is a very historic city with a lot of period buildings - this isn't one of them; it is very modern and as for the the basic/standard rooms - think up market Travellodge. There are better rooms, but you pay more. Good value for seeing the city, but no great charm or atmosphere. However, it was good for waht it is and I would stay again.
