This was our first time in Belgium, the hotel is well placed for the Grote Markt, restaurants, bars shops. Our room was comfortable although little cramped because of the stuff in there 3 beds even though only 2 of us, staff were very friendly and helpful, would recommend this hotel when visiting Bruges. We were on the first floor near the rear of the hotel so was fairly quiet.

I couldn't have asked for a nicer hotel! Excellent location, close to restaurants, bars, sites, and shopping. I was on the second floor facing the street and it had a cute little balcony. It was a decent sized room and bathroom. It wasn't like some of the closet like hotels I've stayed in before. The bed was PHENOMENAL!!!! Sooooo comfortable! It was quiet and I had an excellent couple nights rest. The lobby is welcoming and the staff is nice. They explained how to find the bus stop to get to the train station and they offer some discounts at local spots that I didn't end up using. The internet didn't work periodically but was not a big deal as there are plenty of other places with free wifi. I would absolutely stay her again and recommend it to everyone I know.

Room Tip: I stayed on the 2nd floor facing the street and it was fine. Super quiet and comfortable.

We stayed in a triple room for two nights last weekend. The room was on top floor of hotel. The rooms seem to be newly renovated.. They were clean & modern. The only thing the room was missing was tea making facilities but I think most hotels in Europe don't offer this. We had a room at the back of the hotel so didn't experience any noise from the street. However on the Monday morning the hotel seemed to be carrying out renovations to the structure of the building so we were woken early to drilling etc.
This hotel has a great location, less than a minute to the market square, Belfort & Basilica of the Holy Blood. Many of the other sights & museums are a short walk away.
When we return to Bruge in December we will booking this hotel again

Very clean hotel with fantastic location (a few steps from the Sqaure) but we were given the teeniest, tiniest attic room. Everything was clean & well looked after, we had a view of the Belfry by leaning out the window. Breakfast was copious but the dining room was so busy, it wasn't easy to find a table at first. Tip: happy hour is from 20h - 21h, a little late if you're going out to dinner... Draught beers, soft drinks & an "Eco" Drink are half price.

Stayed at the Martin's Brugge hotel for three nights. Very friendly reception, super quick check in and rooms quite nice. Lovely feel to the hotel. Located in a very convenient position. Would definitely stay again. Bar prices very steep but I do think that is to be expected. Watch out for happy hour though as not everything is included i.e the tonic but not the vodka!!!! The local beers were included in happy hour. This wouldn't put me off staying there though. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, thought it was going to be just continental but there was hot food also. Very good breakfast facilities. Standard of food excellent. To be honest this hotel was just right for the short break I was on. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Dear Peckhamgillian_1957,

We are glad to read that you enjoyed your stay in Martin's Brugge.

Our Happy Hour does indeed not include all drinks in the bar.
All Draught beers, softdrinks and our ECO-cocktail are at half price but other drinks remain at the normal prices.

We are really proud of our breakfast buffet and are pleased to know that it meets all expectations.

Kind Regards,

Nicolas Thieren

Stayed here for just one night last week. Location was perfect - only a couple of minutes from main square. Room was at the top of the 'new' part of the hotel. Small, but tastefully furnished. Bathroom well-equipped - shower cubicle good size. Bed very comfortable. Bar tender very knowledgeable about wines and very friendly. Breakfast selection was excellent - everything one could want and more! Disappointing that the car park was closed due to town's road works. Parked in t'Zand car park for 14 hours - no problem, reasonable rates, 15 minute walk to hotel.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

obvisously brugge is famous for its beer so therefore once the alcohol has well and truly set in you need a hotel you can find- this one is perfect right behind the belfry-the tallest building in brugges skyline- the hotel itself is good value for money, cheerful and practical- we stayed three night in feb 2014- try to get a room at the back of the hotelas the ones on the front can be noisier- however by the time we went to bed nothing would have woken us.

Room Tip: go for rooms at the back of the hotel
