Stayed here at the end of June for one night and got a really good price on the internet which the hotel matched and threw in breakfast when contacted directly. I would rate this hotel highly as it is just round the corner from the main square and in the middle of everything BUT we've got a two year old and when we asked for a baby bed what we actually got was a laundry basket with a matress in it. We complained but were reassured that this was a baby bed as used on the continent ( I know this now not to be true) and, obviously, the little one managed to hit his head on the unprotected struts - not good. Then we were in a third floor room where you couldn't lock the window which wasn't great either and meant moving everything he could climb on into the bathroom to sleep.
Had better "childfriendly" experiances but, if you've got no kids it's fine.

Oh yeah - 24 euros for parking is a rip off. Good public carpark 5 mins walk 8.60 euros.

Nights spoiled by 4 drunken English rampaging through corridors, but the meeting rooms were good, the bedrooms were otherwise quiet, everything worked, the breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. I would go back for business and possibly for pleasure.

Me and my wife stayed at the Martin’s Hotel in Bruges and I cannot praise the location enough. You literally step out the door and you are greeted by the back block of the Belfort building and then you can walk through the courtyard (or around either side) and you’re right in the heart of Bruges in the bustling Market Square (Markt).

The hotel itself was very nice. The staff were very helpful and the beds comfortable. We did not sample the hotel food as we were too eager try the food from the numerous restaurants, cafés, chocolate shops and chip shacks dotted around. If I had to criticise anything it would be that the room was a little small for the price paid. But then if you do take into account the location in the price you are paying it is most certainly worth it and with the amount to do and see in Bruges you are unlikely to spend much time in your room anyway. We certainly did not.

Two thumbs up from us. We would go there again.

The Martins Hotel is well positioned in the town centre close to the “tourist” sites. It isn’t cheap but then Brugge isn’t cheap. Breakfast was adequate but we didn’t eat in the restaurant. The rooms are clean, quiet and very comfortable. I would recommend the hotel for a trip to Brugge a city well worth visiting.

Very close to the north sea & ofcourse the eastern tip of Europe, Bruges itself is a beautiful place and Martin's Hotel here is a real hidden gem !

The rooms are superb with very comfortable beds, furnitures & all the fascilities a traveller would look for. The windows overlooking the street is simly a pleasure to watch when free and not in a mood to socialize or be with someone - simply watching people getting on with usual shopping, young kids playing around and so forth.

People at the receiption (especially the ladies) were very gorgeous and warm - ofcourse ever willing to help !

Would certainly recommend all friends to try this place

This hotel was really good but it gets only an average rating due to its large scale and expensiveness. No free internet and expensive parking. (We parked in the street with no problem at all.) The location is truly awesome.

Great location, pleasant staff, modern rooms, a little on the small side, but perfectly adequate. Comfortable bed and a bath/shower arrangement.
