Lovely hotel run by lovely people with great breakfast.

Try the canal view room for a nice view especially on sunny mornings.

Could be slightly cheaper I suppose but other than that I can not find fault with the hotel, staff, room or food

I stayed there in February for 5 nights. It was an outstanding good quality of the room and an extraordinary kind personal. It was no problem to cancel the last night (I head to leave earlier because of personal reseons). I didn`t had to pay anything for the cancellation. Breakfest was intercontinantel with fresh juice and eggs and excellent quality of all incredients. I enjoyed my stay and will book same hotel coming back to Brugge. Definitly better than the three stars.

Room Tip: Try to get a roon at the back of the hotel. Fantastic view and pretty quite

Although the hotel is not in the Centrum, it is about 15min walk to the Market square which is the center of the old city. This gives it a relatively good location but quite, just near a bus-stop which offers a few lines every 10min. I nearly always walked.
There is a small supermarket just a few houses down the street.
The staff/owners are very friendly and helpful with all needed.
The hotel is small and pleasant giving a great atmosphere with a lovely view to the canal.
Wifi worked great.
Enjoy!!!

Just returned from a 2 week break with my wife. Although not my first time in Belgium this was my first time in Bruges. The weather was terrible but we didn't let that spoil the holiday. Breakfast was superb (to be honest I was expecting a couple of croissants and a bit of cheese) but it was a very tastly done cooked breakfast. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone with walking difficulties, very flat in the surrounding area. Credit must go to the old Flemish chap in the bar, the best moustache I have ever seen - and i'm ex military!

Well done to all at Hotel Ter Duinen

Room Tip: Be careful with children near the canal. Fences are not very child proof

I would no doubt return to Hotel Ter Duinen if I were to visit Brugge (or Bruges) again. I came across this hotel when searching online and my kids (age 15 & 16) and a friend really liked this place. We had a wonderful stay in this lovely little hotel. The owner gave us a warm welcome and he was helpful in sharing information on places of interest. My kids felt special due to the personalised service given to them by the owner. Located at a quiet place besides the canal and within 15 minutes walk to the market square. Would highly recommend this place.

We really liked this hotel and were pleased with every aspect - from the friendly welcome, to the location, the general ambience and the great breakfast. The room was large, clean and had a lovely view of the canal. Even on the last day we were given some ideas of things to do. Is good value and would highly recommend.

Room Tip: Front of the hotel has lovely views of the canal.

A lovely little hotel with family atmosphere, within walking distance of the old town. The breakfast is not only very good, but the landlord has taken the extra time to prepare it outside of schedule for a very early departure in the morning.

Room Tip: The room we had, had a gorgeous view and did everything for us, that we needed, but it was not very...
