Hotel Fevery is lovely, clean and very welcoming. Paul the owner could not have been more helpful and was very happy to give us excellent travel tips to get the most out of our time in Bruges. This is a very old city so don't expect huge rooms or swimming pools but who wants to hang about in the hotel when you have all of Bruges to enjoy? Rooms are immaculate, everything you could need including some tricksy unexpected extras, like the heated mirrors in the loos and the close up mirrors on the main mirrors, a Godsend for us contact lense wearers!. Bed was one of the comfiest I've ever slept in. Breakfast was good fresh food, and while I'm not an egg fan, Paul does magnificent boiled eggs, all boiled to order. The hotel is in a lovely quiet traditional area, a ten minute meander to the centre of the city, we tried all the different combinations but enjoyed the canal side walk the best, just lovely. As usual, better deals to be had in the shops and restaurants not directly on the main squares, the walk to and fro the hotel threw up lots of great places that we only discovered because we were walking in this area. If you're going to Bruges, stay at the Fevery!!!
