“Fantastic Week at the Fevery”
Reviewed 24 April 2011

Hotel Fevery is lovely, clean and very welcoming. Paul the owner could not have been more helpful and was very happy to give us excellent travel tips to get the most out of our time in Bruges. This is a very old city so don't expect huge rooms or swimming pools but who wants to hang about in the hotel when you have all of Bruges to enjoy? Rooms are immaculate, everything you could need including some tricksy unexpected extras, like the heated mirrors in the loos and the close up mirrors on the main mirrors, a Godsend for us contact lense wearers!. Bed was one of the comfiest I've ever slept in. Breakfast was good fresh food, and while I'm not an egg fan, Paul does magnificent boiled eggs, all boiled to order. The hotel is in a lovely quiet traditional area, a ten minute meander to the centre of the city, we tried all the different combinations but enjoyed the canal side walk the best, just lovely. As usual, better deals to be had in the shops and restaurants not directly on the main squares, the walk to and fro the hotel threw up lots of great places that we only discovered because we were walking in this area. If you're going to Bruges, stay at the Fevery!!!

We stayed for two nights at Hotel Fevery. The hotel is very conveniently located and is run by a truly welcoming family. As there were three of us we had a triple room, which is actually a two room suite with a shared bath. Everything is updated, clean and comfortable. And the Eco-Hotel designation is a plus. Breakfast is served in a bright and inviting breakfast room and is extensive with breads, fruit, meats, cheese, cereals, 3 minute eggs and more. Paul is extremely well organized and had many wonderful tips including a great restaurant, Tom's Diner. Besides being very conveniently located another reason for choosing this hotel was the availability of off street parking. I often take trains but having experience driving in Europe and more importantly trying to park, having a parking spot was a real advantage.

The hotel is small and very personable. Everything is clean and immaculate. Paul is extremely good natured and very polite. The location is excellent. Breakfast is more than ample and the boiled eggs are perfection! Great base to discover Brugge

Within TA I very rarely give somewhere 5 * however could not give anything else for this hotel.
If you are looking for an Olympic size swimming pool or hundreds of staff pampering you, this is not the place. However if you are looking for a spotlessly clean hotel, great location, really friendly and helpful staff in a good location this is the place.
Bruges is an expensive city so the price of this hotel is another great reason to visit.
My partner even said goodbye to the bed at the end of the visit as it was amazingly comfortable. I would recommend this hotel without question.

Paul and his colleagues made my stay here very enjoyable. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in, and the hotel benefited from a quiet location with little outside noise.

Breakfasts were plentiful & with excellent service - nothing was too much trouble. When I enquired about sugar-free jam (as I am diabetic) this was sourced, purchased and available for me to enjoy.

Paul also provided helpful maps both for Bruges and when I visitied Ghent on a day trip - the places he suggested to stop for a bite to eat - were very useful and provided good food and refreshment.

This hotel must rank as one of the very best I have stayed in & I thoroughly recommend it to others looking for good value and comfort in Bruges.

An awesome little hotel! Very clean with friendly service. It felt good to be green! It was a little hard to find at first, but the location is good once you find your way around. They are very helpful and full of tips and advice. Get the bus tickets from Paul - great value.

Lovely Quiet and very clean Eco-Hotel just to the North of the Centre of Bruges. Best Value if you book via Hotel website. Ten minute walk to The Markt in the centre. Quiet situation but with a couple of bars and restaurants close by. Lovely walk beside the canal into town via VanEyck Square. The owner will give you a map and recommend walks, bars and restaurants if you wish. He was not far out with his tips. Breakfast was continental with boiled egg. Very friendly reception on arrival. Baggage room for left luggage on last day. Bus 4 and 14 from Bruges Station from 2 minute walk away. He will book you in with Quasimodo Tours for a trip to Flanders Field. You may get picked up from the hotel if lucky.
