This is a lovely, friendly, spotless hotel in an ideal location with a scenic 10 minute by one of the many canals to reach the center of Brugges. The owner, Paul, was by far one of the nicest hotel owners we have encountered in our many travels who helped us many times with directions, recommendations and was always accommodating with whatever we asked. The breakfast was great and it took only seconds to have coffee, orange juice, eggs and a bread basket delivered to our table each day with other delicious items for self-serve. We stayed 6 nights instead of the 4 originally planned. The high speed internet service provided was inexpensive and located in their cozy sitting room. Our room was spotless and the bed was great. We can hardly wait to go back and will definitely book this hotel again as you should!

Just spent 2 nights at hotel Fevery and would recommend it. syayed previously in 2006.
we had booked a triple room as there were no twins left.
Paul showed us to our room which was large with spacious bathroom. bathroom was spotless as if it had never been used. The bed was made up as a double and on request spare bed was made up.
Paul showed me to secure car park about 100 metres from hotel.
Paul gave us a map of city and showed us best way to Markt.

Breakfast was fine with fresh bread, rolls & toast tea coffee and small buffet of meat and cheese with cereals , jams spreads etc.

on checking out on Sat morning we headed towards Zandt to the market following directions given by Paul. On the way paul phoned my mobile to tell me I had left my mp3 player in the room. We returned to hotel to collect it later.
We were impressed by the honesty and trouble taken to contact us.

Highly recommended for cleanliness & service.

We visited the Fevery Hotel and had a great stay. The hotel is on the other side of the central area from the train station. We had no problem getting there by bus and walking. The benefit of this location is it is in a quiet area of the town beside a very old church. The owner Paul is so helpful with recommendations, directions etc. The hotel is very clean with basic accomodation. The beds are a bit hard. The breakfast is sufficient. THey do not allow pick-nics in the rooms, sink laundry, or kettles. You can get a drink in the lounge area as well as internet services for a small fee. The lounge is basic but quite nice. I would rate this a 3*+ accomodation and would have no trouble recommending this establishment and I am used to 5* standards.

We stayed at this small, family-owned hotel for two nights at the end of August. We had reserved a family suit with two bedrooms sharing a bath, and it was roomy and scrupulously clean and well furnished. Paul, who checked us in, had lots of local information to share, and helped us use the Internet PC in the comfortable parlor. There is a lift, too, but still two small steps to the door of our room (not a problem for us). The center of Bruges is an easy 10-minute walk along a beautiful canal. They were also very nice in arranging an early breakfast for us the day we had to check out. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I chose this hotel based on other reviews and they were right on. The hotel was clean, comfortable, quiet and the location was perfect. Paul was fantastic, everything he recommended was great. They call Bruges the Venice of the North and my boyfriend (who has been to both now) said Bruges is better. This city is quite possibly the cleanest city on the planet. We are both glad we chose this city and the Hotel Fevery was an excellant choice to stay at. Thank you Paul for making this part of our trip our favorite.

We had a weekend trip to Bruges and stayed in Hotel Fevery for two nights.
We had a family room with two bedrooms and a large bathroom. Each room had a television which our children put to use during breaks from our walks through the city.
The hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the main market square (Belfry). A very easy walk. Even with a 5 year old. We liked the location because it is close to the city centre but not loud and the short walk aloud us to walk along the canal and take in the unique Belgian architecture.
The European-style breakfast was ample. We had enough orange juice, coffee and hot chocolate for the children. There was toast, croissants, rolls and soft boiled or hard boiled eggs. To the children's great pleasure, they were also brought children's cereal. There were also child-friendly bread spreads such as jam, a Nutella-like spread and our new favourite, the Speculoos spread. Thanks for the great story to go with it! For the adults, there were cold cuts and cheese as well as various marmalades.
The room was impeccably clean as the bathroom.
There were enough clean towels and the two large beds were very comfortable. Even for someone with a bad back.
A great perk was the free hot-spot where we were able to check our emails on our laptop from our room. There is also a PC with internet access available for a reasonable fee in the sitting room. There is also up-to-date weather images and forecast to view on a screen in the sitting room. It was a great place and the price is unbeatable.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a week and must say that we agree totally with all the excellent reviews we had read before our visit. The hotel is very traditional and is in a quiet location but is still within easy walking distance to the main square. Paul, the owner, is always very happy to help in any way. The rooms are spotlessly clean and we felt as if we were staying as guests in a private home rather than a hotel. Breakfast was served in a small comfortable room next to the lounge. Everything was freshly prepared and plentyful. A big bonus here is private parking facilities [available at a small charge] as parking in Bruges is at a premium. We found Bruges a beautiful city and the people very friendly. We would love to return to Bruges and stay at the Fevery again.
