“Great value, great place”
Reviewed 6 April 2010

This is a great little hotel, not too far from the centre of Bruges. Our room was cosy and comfortable with a nice clean ensuite bathroom. We particulary liked the continental breakfast - a wonderful start to a day of walking around the town!

The service was polite and efficient, and we were given a map with details of the best places to visit. We also received a discount card which was lovely, as it meant we could visit more of the attractions.

All in all, we had a great stay here!

The service in this small hotel really makes a difference to larger hotels.
Very Very clean and nice throughout the hotel.
Personal touch to all detail.
Very good value for money.
Hotel to come back to again and again.
Location just 10 min walk to city centre.
Thank you for a very nice stay

The Hotel Fevery was a wonderful place to stay while in Bruges. The whole experience starting with being greeted at the door by the owner was great. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The bed may have been one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in while in a hotel. The location was a very nice 5-10 minute walk from the center of town with plenty of restaurants along the way. The breakfast was good and well presented in the morning, we had to leave at 6am on our final day so the owner even offered to discount my rate because we would not be able to get breakfast before leaving. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. If you are lucky enough to visit Bruges this is the place to stay.

This family run hotel is an ideal base to see Bruges, the market square is some 10 mins walk. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, don't expect antique furniture and you won't be disappointed. Paul the owner is a wealth of knowledge, so it's worth talking too him. Breakfast was served between 8 - 10 and typically continental, although how they managed to serve perfectly boiled eggs every day had us beat. Before you leave the hotel remember to top up water bottle from the chilled water dispenser in reception (part of their eco ethos). Then after enjoying a walk round the beautiful city of Bruges you can enjoy free tea/coffee in the lounge during late afternoon. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and would definitely stay here again

Hotel Fevery is a small, family run hotel ideally situated close to the centre of the old city. Paul who runs the hotel is friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and quiet and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is available from a small buffet between 8.00 - 10.00; on offer is cereal, fruit, bread, cold meat, cheese and boiled eggs so no need to eat again before lunch time (unless you are unable to resist the lovely cakes and pastries in the cafes). We liked the fact that there were no unnecessary toiletaries supplied but Paul has a stock of (complimentary) toothbrushes if you have forgotten yours.

We stayed at Hotel Fevery for three days while we were in Bruges. I can't say enough nice things about the hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, quiet and warm. On top of all of that it is excellent value for money and in a quiet location just outside of the main tourist hustle and bustle so you can easily get to all of the attractions by foot from the hotel.

Paul the manager made sure that we were looked after, he even had a jar of Vegemite on hand for us Aussies. It is the little touches that make this hotel great. Paul also recommended that we book a Quasimodo tour to Flanders Fields which was an incredible day and well worth doing.

We will definitely stay here again if we are in Bruges.

We travelled to Bruges the day after theBrussels train crash. The only advice we got from Eurostar was not to travel and get an exchange or refund on our tickets. On phoning the hotel, Paul, the owner couldn't have been more helpful. He told us we could get to Lilles and then travel by domestic train to Bruges and sent a print out of the train times. He also did the same for our return journey
The hotel is very small - 10 rooms -and in a very quiet location near a church which was beautifully lit at night. Yet only 10 mins walk to the centre and a mere 5mins to the oldest pub in Bruges a great place to have a drink at any time!
The rooms were'nt huge but well equipped and warm with very comfortable beds and linen. The bathrooms were larger than average and had a bath as well as a shower. There were no toiletries and this is for eco reasons( all that plastic!)
We noticed a slight sewagey smell in our room and we were moved to another room and had a choice of two. Breakfast was fine. Would have been nice to have been able to get a drink in the hotel or a coffee machine in the little lounge.
Left to Eurostar we would never have got there!

Thank you for your kind review. Just a small notice that I'm a bar tender too. We serve beers, soft drinks, coffee, tea and hot chocolate in our lounge. Hope to welcome you again soon. Paul
