The staff was wonderful - very thoughtful, informative and accommodating, with lots of suggestions concerning additional sights to visit.

Named after one of Bruges' most famous painters, the hotel was not exactly what I expected, which is actually a good thing, seeing as I was pleasantly surprised. Just a 10-minute walk away from both the train-station and the city center (although, to be fair, almost every hotel in Bruges is that near the center) and overlooking one of the canals that Bruges is famous for, the hotel was just near all the attractions we intended to visit, yet far enough away from all the commotion.

The rooms were relatively small but impeccably clean and the bathroom was tiny but still pretty usable. The breakfast was more than ample, especially the desserts.

All in all, a fantastic value for money.

The Hotel is located centrally and a stones throw from bars and eateries . We had a large room which overlooked canal . Dated decor but clean and comfortable , good breakfast included do basically couldn't fault it and will definitely rebook on next visit to Bruges .

Hotel is in an excellent location close to the centre of bruges.

2 minute walk to lots of cafes and bars.

There is a very large underground car park very close and costs €8.70 for 24 hours.

Hotel its self has very large rooms, mine had twin beds, table and 2 chairs, tea making facilities and good wifi. room had no television, but I dont go away to watch tv so not a problem.

Contential breakfast in the morning was very good.

Only downside was the shower/toilet was very dated.

Very clean hotel and at €80 for the night it was very good value.

Great visit too a fantastic city with a hotel in a prime location . No evening television was disapointing but staff were friendly and went above ad beyond expectations. Room was dated but did the job. Poor view from the room but good breakfast

Very nice small hotel! Could have done with a TV in the room! Staff were very friendly and will help in any way possible! Continental breakfast was ideal, nice bit of toast, salami, cheese, boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, coffee and tea.
