“Basilica”
Reviewed 7 April 2014

Stopped by while in Bruges.
Incredible history. Beautiful chapel. And the relic. What else can I say.
A must see while in Bruges. Go early in the morning when nobody is there
2 euro donation to look at the relic up close

“Rare spectacle”
Reviewed 7 April 2014

Having been to Rome on many occasions I thought it would take a lot for me to be dumbfounded by a spectacle such as this. I was wrong for as soon as you walk into this Basilica you cannot help but to be moved by it's peace and serenity.

“Well worth a visit”
Reviewed 5 April 2014

Beautiful chapel (up the stairs). If you arrive just before 11.30 am then you'll be just in time for a short service when you actually get to see the vialle of 'blood'. The church itself is beautiful and free to enter.

“One place in your list that you could visit”
Reviewed 2 April 2014

There is plenty of information regarding this place on any tourist guide, the Internet, etc. Truth is, the two chapels (first/second floor) worth the visit, but depending on your personal taste, could be consider as a remarkable place or not. Just my two cents, you do not have to pay a dime to visit any of those chapels. On the other hand if you wanna go to the museum, it will cost you 2 Euros.

“Touching”
Reviewed 31 March 2014

You can visit the basilica during a service, which adds to the experience a great deal! I feels quite intrusive at first, but I quickly realized that the church really needs the exposure as donations seem to make up a important part of their upkeep funds.
If you enjoy churches, this is a very small and intimate church I really would recommend.
