“Really different and gives you a good history lesson”
Reviewed 11 July 2014

We found this on a really quiet walking tour that was in a brochure. It is a great building and its history (same family for over 500 years), following this family, gives you a great idea of the entire history of Brugge since the 15th century.

“A gem off the beaten track”
Reviewed 3 July 2014

I wanted to see this church, as a scene of the film "In Bruges" with Colin Farrell and Ralph Fiennes is shot here.
It's a hidden gem, with a very comprehensive museum attached.
The whole composition of the building and the atmosphere of the church make it a surprising and worthful stop, slightly off the beaten track.

“stunning”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

This really takes you back to the 15th century, no messing around in this building. The marble back piece of the altar is quite beautiful
and full of symbolism. This was built as a replica of the basilica in Jerusalem.. If you visit the Folk Museum it is only a short walk away and should not be missed.

“Beautiful little Church”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

I went out of my way to see this church, and it was well worth it. Next to the lace museum, very interesting visit.

“Slightly Off the Beaten Track”
Reviewed 30 May 2014

The Jerusalem Church is slightly off the beaten track, which means there are a lot less tourists who visit. This is an advantage because it is unusual. It's rather dark somber and quiet, and altogether rather mysterious which gives off a strange feeling. Some interesting tombs there also.
