“Relaxing stay in a busy Bruge”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 February 2013

We spent 3 nights in Atlas Guesthouse and it was really great! I can truly recommend it to everyone.

It's best suited for someone travelling by car (like us), very easy to get there from the motorway, lots of parking space but it's a bit of a walk to the town center (around 30 min). There are buses just outside to get you there or you could rent a bike from the owners but we didn't mind walking.

The owners are very friendly and helpful with good knowledge of the local area. There is a good selection of maps and little book guides in the guesthouse so it's easy to plan your stay.

The guesthouse itself is a separate little house so you are completely separate from the owners and you don't disturb each other. There is a little kitchen, fully equipped if you wanted to do your own cooking, living area, good bathroom downstairs and a nice bedroom on the first floor. It feels like home from home, it's very cosy and very clean. There is a little area outside with a table and chairs so you can sit outside or have your breakfast there.

Breakfast was just fantastic! Very fresh, tasty and well presented. Great selection of bread, slightly different every morning.

There are great cycling routs just outside your door step, easy to follow, very well marked. I felt very safe exploring the area on our own.

Stayed two nights at the Atlas Guest House doing some business in the local area and can highly recomend it. Everything is very convenient, the room was huge, very private, clean, new and beautifully dectorated. Our only regret was our stay was not long enough. Will certainly be back to stay with Jos and Tabitha for sure Cheers David

Room Tip: Two nights in Brugge is not long enough. My next trip I plan to stay minium 4 nights

We stayed at Atlas B&B for one week to visit Ieper and Brugges. The location was perfect. The car rental was around the corner and also the bus stop to Brugges. The bus service is excellent. Our appartment was new, spotless clean and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Jos and Tabitha were perfect hosts. Their knowledge of the area is super and they couldn't have been nicer or more helpful to us. They provided an excellent guide to the local area and also included was information for Brugge. We found this very helpful. We would highly recommend Atlas B&B. We would love to visit again soon. Having the option, we decided to cook our own breakfast. Thank you Jos and Tabitha for a wonderful stay. Siobhan and Eileen, (sisters) Ireland.

A nice place to stay in this tourist town. You are staying in a duplex, spacious, tastefully decorated, kitchen available, nothing is missing. The bedroom is on the first, the bathroom on the ground floor. You have in your duplex a real living room. Don't be afraid to spend here few days, you will be like at home. The breakfast is generous and delicious.

We had the opportunity to visit the guest houses. World class, charming and cosy with all facilities you might require. Add the renowned Belgian hospitality of the host Jos and hostess Tabitha to the mix and you have a perfect getaway. Very well recommended. Ideal starting point to visit and explore Brugge - the Venice of the north.

Room Tip: Beide guest houses zijn evenwaardig aan elkaar Both guest houses are equally charming, quiet, sunny...
