My family only went because of the combo ticket with another museum. It was a very small collection of art. Bottom line -don't go out of your way for it.

if he is still there. This is a funny little place. On the first floor, there was an exhibit of engravings by Jacques Callot. You use enlarging glasses to see them. But it was the exhibit of Frank Brangwyn that grabbed me. I had never heard of him. I particularly enjoyed his paintings of working folks.

This museum is included with the admission to the Groenige museum. As such, it is a good deal. We enjoyed it, although its exhibits are limited.

There is a great exhibition of engravings by Jacques Callot that are not to be missed if you are a fan of this art form. M. Callot is a master of the medium with incredible detail and great depth and perspective. Unfortunately the engravings are small so a magnifying glass, supplied by the museum, is required to appreciate the works.

This was once a grand house, but is now used as a gallery. The ground floor was showing engravings by Jacques Callot – I didn’t find this of much interest, except the gruesome “Horrors of War” series. Upstairs was showing works by Frank Brangwyn, which were much more to my taste – I particularly liked his pencil (or were they charcoal?) drawings. Give it a go, you might surprise yourself.

The entrance fee is included in the Groeniges Museum ticket.
