It was nice to walk around and admire the beautiful architecture around this square. Basilica of Holy Blood is located right at the square. There are benches around and some statues near the square. We had some gelato at one of the movable vendor and sit on the bench to relax for a while before continued walking around the Bruges city. There are some cafes and restaurants around to have some coffee/ beer, etc. Nice and relaxing place.

It's quiet first thing in the morning and is lovely and atmospheric. Well worth pausing for a moment. Also fun in the evening eating waffles and listening to buskers.

This square takes you back in time. The buildings are spectacular. It was a bit crowded on a Saturday afternoon but a good trip!
