Gorgeous room overlooking canal. Great location for exploring the city. A 4 min walk from cheap underground parking (parked vehicle for 2 days costing €18). Lovely staff. Really nice breakfast. Only downside is the bar which has no atmosphere and the drinks are very overpriced.

My husband and I stayed here twice for one night each time; both nights in room 42 which is on the first floor and has a view of the canal. There were perhaps 4 steps to our charming, quaint, very clean room. The history is outstanding! The staff was very friendly and helpful. A delicious breakfast buffet is available in the cellars which are very historic.

We would definitely stay here if in the area. The hotel is within easy walking of several restaurants as it has no dining room. The town with lovely shops plus the Cathedral are about a 7 minute walk.

Room Tip: Room 42 or those in the same hall are easiest to reach with 42 being on the canal.

We stayed here as our last stop before getting the ferry after 2 weeks in France.
It was a great location in Brugge even though a little hard to find by car.
This is a very quaint hotel and perfect for,one or two nights, easy access to the centre but must book a car parking spot.

I stayed here over night with my family. We booked 2 rooms and the rates were quite reasonable for what it is. The hotel has a unique old feeling about it and it is just by the canal which added a very classic atmosphere to our stay.
The canal has it problems: MOSQUITOES!!
I mentioned mosquitoes due to the fact that it was the only issues we had overnight and although I will certainly stay in this hotel so many times in future I will go very prepared for the mosquitoes. The cleanliness of the rooms was to a very high standard.
Breakfast was grand and hospitality great! During our stay there was building work going on near by and the workmen there started early and we were awoken by the noise, but the management went and put a stop to it.
The hotel is a short walking distance from the city centre and once you park your car during your stay there is absolutely no need to move the car again until your departure.
I will highly recommend this hotel.

We were in room 31. In the cellar with vaulted ceilings. Large with canal view. Fewer steps than many of the rooms. Feels like you're staying in a part of history.

Room warm and comfortable but with terracotta tiled floor, take slippers for cooler months. Probably lovely in the summer. Rooms higher up may have carpets.

Quiet, basic bar run by receptionist nice for a coffee on return to hotel after long day sight seeing, a cheeky beer or pre- dinner G+T.

Breakfast in cellar has old world charm, with excised brickwork and beams. Reasonable choice of usual buffet fayre but as you would expect, very good croissants and pain au chocolat. And has views onto canal.

No evening dining but very good restaurant nearby if you ask at reception - much better than more touristy places nearer the centre - cheaper and better, more authentic food.

Stayed for three nights with my mother and really recommend it. Nice to be on the edge of the main area, so quiet, but within walking distance of all main museums and sights.
