Visited Bruges for. Long weekend, the hotel is in a great location, not far from the city centre, the staff are attentive and helpful and the breakfast is varied.

However the rooms are extremely tired. And urgently need updating, paint peeling, carpets stained and furniture worn, in all honesty felt a little grubby
On a plus side you can pay for parking which is cheap and close to the hotel in a city where parking is a premium

The location in excellent - a short walk from the main square but you could be a million miles away - because it's quiet and seems set in a really residential area. It's quaint - lots of frills and chintz - but no wifi! We did appreciate being able to get a beer in the lounge a couple of nights when we got back. It's not modern - but it's comfortable and hospitable.

Booked this hotel with family who had stayed there before. This is a relatively small hotel managed I guess by husband and wife who work long days. Breakfast is the usual continental fare, and rooms are comfortable and clean if the decor maybe considered by some a little dated.

The hotel's position just a short walk from the main square is welcome, being quiet and by one of the canals.

The bar has a good range of Belgium beers.

Just returned from 4 night break at the lovely Bryghia Hotel. We parked at station car park (€3.50 day) & hopped on bus to grote market square - easy 10 min walk to hotel. Our room was on 1st floor, lovely & spacious, extremely comfortable bed, lovely & light with big french-door windows, spotlessly clean & most important for us was QUIET - we never even heard any other guests from our room! Breakfast was plentiful & very fresh - constantly replenished by the attentive owners. Special thanks go to this very efficient couple who saved the day for us (we got a phonecall from Nathan @ battlefield daytours cancelling our day trip just 30 mins before pick-up - a regular occurrence apparently!) While we finished eating breakfast they arranged for Quasimodo tours to collect us in 30 mins & our battlefield tour was back on - what an impressive service. We would certainly return to hotel Bryghia & wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

The hotel Bryghia, located on a quiet square in Bruges Belgium offers comfortable rooms away from the noise and crowds that can overwhelm this beautiful city. The hotel is a brief 5 minute walk to the major Bruges attractions and if you arrive by car, provides parking for its guests( a Bruges rarity). Just off Jan Van Eyck Plein the hotel offers about 25 rooms with ample space(by European standards). bathrooms were reasonable size and showers/baths were better than average. Breakfast is provided in a lovely breakfast room and the hotel staff was helpful and informed. They suggested and made reservations for our group of 6 at several excellent restaurants. A good choice for someone looking for moderate priced accomodation.

Room Tip: Given its location, mos Given its quiet location, noise is not an issue.
