We had a lovely stay at the Adornes, great location as it's just a short walk to the main square. Free parking is a real plus.

We did not actually stay at the hotel - but we had a wonderful experience with the owner that made me want to! My friend and I were traveling through Brugge over Christmas. On Christmas eve we had taken a walk down by the canals and ended up looking in the window of this hotel. Next thing we new the owner had opened the door and brought us inside. He gave us a bunch of recommendations for things that would be open Christmas day in Brugge and for things we should do the rest of our stay. He even gave us tips for places we were traveling in the future. He really went out of his way to give us information, considering we were not even paying customers. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, if you are lucky enough to stay there.

Absolutely spot on - great location in Bruges, brilliant staff, wonderful large room, and parking.

We arrived frazzled after a three hour drive from Germany and were immediately put at our ease by the friendly owner on the desk and by the lumbering hotel dog! The lady was brilliant - gave us maps, a walking route, recommendations on where to eat. Everything we needed to make the most of our single afternoon in the amazing city.

The room was large and offered a stunning view over a canal and onto more period houses. This corner of Bruges is quieter than some and still only a very short stroll into the centre. Loved the room, loved the hotel and loved the city.

Room Tip: We had room 17 - huge, lovely period features, incredibly comfy beds.

We stayed here for 3 nights in December. Booked a large double room plus a cot. Have stayed here once before and as previously the staff were excellent - really friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms have been re-done since our last stay and are really fresh and modern. Our room was quite big for european standards, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was spotlessly clean and the cot was the nicest we have had at a hotel with a proper mattress and fresh bedding. Our room was number 16 and overlooked the front of the hotel and the canal. The room had beautiful beams as were in what I would describe as the attic room. Its slightly noisy but not enough to disturb us and the view....including the view of the Belfort....was beautiful! We stayed at the side of the hotel previously which was quieter so if you are a light sleeper ask for a side or rear room. Breakfast was a continental buffet and was delicious. We had our 1 year old with us and the staff could not have been more helpful or thoughtful, they were all fantastic! We were allowed to use their fridge to store baby food and microwave to warm our baby food and the breakfast room and highchair etc at any time of day. We were told to treat the place like home and thats exactly what it felt like. We used the basement lounge to relax in which has a large comfortable sofa, fire, table and chairs, games and tv. You can get a bar service too but we didnt use it. The hotel has free secure parking only a short stroll away and free use of bikes, even bikes with child seats on. The Markt is a short walk away of about 10 mins past a few wine bars and restaurants. Its a scenic walk. We will return to Brugge again and I will, without doubt, stay at this hotel every time. The hotel and staff are faultless. I dont think you will regret staying here. Thank you very much for looking after is Adornes!

We stayed as a family - two adults, two children aged 10 and 14 - in October 2011 but the adults had stayed at the Adornes twice about 18 years ago. It was as good as we remembered it, if not better. We had a family room on the top floor, which was quiet, clean and overlooked the canal - there is very little in the way of traffic noise. Breakfast offers plenty of choice and is served in a lovely room with an open fire on chillier mornings. There is a cellar which is kitted out as a large lounge, with TV, books and board games - very useful with children - and you can order drinks from the reception desk and have them brought down to you there. The staff are wonderful - very attentive, always have time for you, and are very keen to show off the best of Bruges. We followed up some of their recommendations and weren't disappointed - the oldest pub in Bruges is a minute's walk round the corner and is a great place for a drink or a snack. We were made to feel very welcome indeed, and I'm sure we'll be back.

The hotel benefits from a canalside location just out of the hustle and bustle of the busy centre. The centre together with many excellent restaurants are a few minutes walk away.
Our room (4) overlooked the canal, it was spacious and well appointed. The included buffet breakfast is served in a very pleasant room and is of high standard. Customer service from the very knowledgeable, multilingual staff was outstanding. The nearby free underground, secure parking facility was a great bonus in this historic city. Overall a first class experience.

We stayed at the Adornes in September and could not be happier!
It is in a perfect location by the canal, the rooms are nice and clean, breakfast great!
Bikes are included too!
But for us the best "attribute" was the staff. Everybody was very attentive and helpful with all our needs, offered suggestions and answered all our questions. I especially felt like I met an old friend - Stephanie. She was one of the nicest people we met on our trip!We just wished we had stayed longer. We highly recommend this hotel and their wonderful staff!
Thank you for everything you did for us!
